how can you go to WDW and not realise there other parks? there are signs and stuff everywhere. if you see a bus or sign saying Animal Kingdom would you ask what that is for lol

You're right...SHOULDN'T be 40 degrees in the morning in AUGUST! We have a predicted heat index of 110 today!

It is crazy isn't it. I am having to wait until around 9pm to go out training for the marathon. It still feels close to a 100 degree index then.

My mil came back and couldn't believe how many pictures she took. She said she took sooooooo many pictures. She took about 50 pictures.

I have taken between 2 to 5 thousand pictures in a weekend at times. Heck I took between 40 and 45 gigs of pics during oursaturday.

I have a friend/student, she e-mails me "guess what! I'm on my way to DW!" When she got back, I asked her what her favorite ride was, she said Space Mt. I told her I liked EE and RnR better. She said she didn't see them! Turns out she only went to the MK and Epcot. She did not even know there were two other parks there!!!!!!! She spent two days at DW and then went to Universal and Cape Canaveral.

She is visiting her father for the summer. He just jumped up at the spur of the moment and want to take them to DW!

She said Belle was her favorite princess. I said oh, did you eat at Be Our Guest? See Enchanted Tales w/Belle? Did she meet her in France? See the Beauty and the Beast Show?? She wrote back "my Dad sucks at vacations"

'Bought the same here this week. It's almost 10 PM and we're still at 85! Believe it or not our pool water is still on the cool side...feels REALLY good around 5 in the afternoon! That little perky DGD you met in July is having a hard time this evening. Had her tonsils removed today and even Mimi's slushy's aren't helping!

I know! I told her she needs to go to DW w/me. I should have her mother, sister and her meet me there sometime!!

But, the first time I went to DW, I stayed w/a friend in Tampa, drove 3 hours to get there. Staggered around all day looking for a/c and drove back 3 hours to Tampa. With a toddler! Must have been 1982/3 OMG I'm so OLD!!!! At least I got smarter with age

Seemed to be a lot "simpler" back then. Not much advanced planning. Only two parks and there were no fast pass and no advanced dining reservations. We used to stay with my grandparents in Largo. We would drive and stay in a hotel for a few nights when we went to Disney. Always offsite.
