They came back and said they were not impressed with Disney. Well they didn't see anything. My mil came back and couldn't believe how many pictures she took. She said she took sooooooo many pictures. She took about 50 pictures. Most of them were at the resort and inside the Little Mermaid Ride yup with a flash.

Woooooow..... You just can't help some people. Seriously, how do you only see 2 rides in MK? And only see Epcot in Mexico. You have to walk through SOMETHING else either way.

So I decided to take this Friday off to make it a long weekend for me because I can’t want a week till the actual long weekend lol

So I will have two long weekend in a row woot woot

I have next Monday off! Normally I get Fridays off the weekends I don't work (if you work Saturday, you get a comp day during the week) so I have long weekends. But everyone is leaving for vacation over the next couple of months so everything gets wacky. I'm happy to get Monday off, but it will be after chaperoning our high school youth lock-in where we "kidnap" the rising freshman Saturday night...I'm sure I'll just sleep it all away!

Speaking of flash photography I'll tell you a funny but sad story I'll start at the beginning. My mil went to Disney last year with my bil, sil and nephew. It was their first trip to Disney and they brought my mil with them. None of them have ever been and I offered any info to them and sil said they don't need any help they HAVE been to FL before so they know what they are doing. Never been to Disney but knew everything. Anyway they went for a week they stayed off site because this hotel was so much better than Disney hotels because it had a lazy river. They were only going to Disney for 2 days because they had to spend time at the hotel because it was so wonderful it had a lazy river.

So they went to the MK, and only went on They Little Mermaid Ride and POTC. and saw and did nothing else. What? How can anyone go to the MK and only see two things? They next day they went to Epcot and went to Mexico. Yup only saw Mexico and left. Didn't bother with anything else or any other parks.

lol silly people you can’t enjoy anything by only seeing 3 things. It’s like going to a different country and just staying on the block which your hotel is and says you did not like it. you have to see and do everything you can before you can say if you like it or not because you miss so much other stuff

... but they didn't need ANY help from you on how to "have fun" ... ! Some people jusst "don't get it"!

I have a friend/student, she e-mails me "guess what! I'm on my way to DW!" When she got back, I asked her what her favorite ride was, she said Space Mt. I told her I liked EE and RnR better. She said she didn't see them! Turns out she only went to the MK and Epcot. She did not even know there were two other parks there!!!!!!! She spent two days at DW and then went to Universal and Cape Canaveral.

She is visiting her father for the summer. He just jumped up at the spur of the moment and want to take them to DW!

She said Belle was her favorite princess. I said oh, did you eat at Be Our Guest? See Enchanted Tales w/Belle? Did she meet her in France? See the Beauty and the Beast Show?? She wrote back "my Dad sucks at vacations"

how can you go to WDW and not realise there other parks? there are signs and stuff everywhere. if you see a bus or sign saying Animal Kingdom would you ask what that is for lol
