Let's finish off the weekend with an easy one which should be solved early on.

Just got home from last softball tournament. So we have a few weekends left of the summer to do stuff probably go to Maine.

My son was contacted by a junior hockey coach who wants him to play for him this season. I wish he would have contacted sooner BEFORE registering for college classes. He was offered a contract no tryout needed he has seen my son play over the last two years and wants him. I don't see how it's going to work going to school and trying to manage a hockey schedule with practices and games. He would have to quit his job that his JUST GOT.There goes his car payments. Never mind the cost. About a trip to Disney He is so excited and I know it would open doors for college hockey. I'm just worried about him being able to handle both and what is going to happen with his job would they let him take a leave and come back after hockey. It took him a year to get in to this place. And the there's the cost no idea how we are going to pay for that.

I'm of the belief that teens should take advantage of every opportunity offered them...but then, I don't have to pay your bills! I would guess it all depends on if he can handle the stress of keeping his grades up and being able to offer 100% to the hockey team. Sure is a shame about the job though. That's another of my "beliefs"; teens should have to work and contribute to their needs.

Have you been able to enjoy your pool any? I just spent a relaxing hour in/by ours...thawing out! We've had our first "cool front" of the season and our high yesterday was only 80. For Texas, in AUGUST, THAT's amazing! Sure did make that darn water cold though.

You are right on the money! I think Ed and I took pictures of EVERY scene from the 10:30 Castle show. We "parked" ourselves right in front and I think I got some spectacular photos from my little "point & shoot" camera!

What a headache trying to figure THAT out but, WHAT an opportunity for him! That's awesome. I'm of the belief that teens should take advantage of every opportunity offered them...but then, I don't have to pay your bills! I would guess it all depends on if he can handle the stress of keeping his grades up and being able to offer 100% to the hockey team. Sure is a shame about the job though. That's another of my "beliefs"; teens should have to work and contribute to their needs.

Have you been able to enjoy your pool any? I just spent a relaxing hour in/by ours...thawing out! We've had our first "cool front" of the season and our high yesterday was only 80. For Texas, in AUGUST, THAT's amazing! Sure did make that darn water cold though.

Yes, this is from Epcot; it does have something to do with Agent P but I didn't even notice that until we returned from our trip and I looked at my pictures. I took the picture for an entirely different reason.

You are right on the money! I think Ed and I took pictures of EVERY scene from the 10:30 Castle show. We "parked" ourselves right in front and I think I got some spectacular photos from my little "point & shoot" camera!

I looked at what I took that night. 243 castle show pics with a file size of 6.7 gigs. When I downloaded both memory cards there was over 40 something gigs of pictures. Man I took a lot of pics that night.

I was wondering where you were too. That is wonderful that your son was offered a contract to play hockey! Jr. hockey? Is that like a semi professional thing? It's not HS and not college? He's going to Jr. college so there isn't any hockey team there?

That is awesome news Diane and lots to think about and work thru.

Just think. In a few years you can see him fighting at center ice in the Stanley Cup Finals and say that's my boy

WOW...did I inspire you that much? It sure was nice having a "camera buddy" with me and if you didn't notice...DH didn't complain ONCE about having to stop while we took pictures! I'm not used to that , I usually get, "NOW what are you taking a picture off?"
