I was reading on tikiman website about all the changes at the Poly.What are they thinking. Now they want to make more longhouses DVC. Tahiti, Rapa Nui and now Tokelau and rumors that you can't stay at a DVC including the bungalows if you did not buy into the Poly DVC. Bungalows are blocking the castle. Also no more self serve Dole Whips. Well that just stinks. Too many changes.

I never even got to stay there. They sure are pushing that DVC program and as expensive as everything is, people still line up to give Disney their money!

Ever notice everywhere there is a fountain or any water, people just throw their money in there? Like on the queue at Expedition Everest. Like it doesn't cost enough to go to the Disney parks, people literally stand there and just throw their money away!

Ever notice everywhere there is a fountain or any water, people just throw their money in there? Like on the queue at Expedition Everest. Like it doesn't cost enough to go to the Disney parks, people literally stand there and just throw their money away!

Yes I notice it, my kids are "those people". Not just at Disney but anywhere.

I am going to be up in Orlando this Friday to see my daughter and her boyfriend. They are playing over at Universal for a couple of days.

I will have to now stop over and update the construction pics.

I'd know those "peaks" anywhere!



Sure is going to be a change, isn't it? I was wondering how the DVC thing was going to work but that makes sense...buying into Poly DVC. I would think the demand for them would be high. Little disappointed about the "missing" castle view but I think it's still "available" from the pool area. I'm going to miss the waterfall in the lobby more than anything.

I think the castle views will just about be gone except for the bungalow's over the water

That was the "smell" of the Poly.

It has been almost 30 years since staying at the Poly. I even remember that one trip when I was married that we walked to the beach side of the room that had the perfect view of the castle and on our next trip requested and got that specific room. It was on the 3rd floor. What a view
