My first thought was the drums at The Outpost.

That was my first thought too...one of the balloons in The Land.

After and extra hour at work faint: BUSY Friday); picking DGD's up from school; a QUICK visit with BFF to figure out "who's riding with who" ; makeup and dance costumes for TWO hyper 7 year olds; a 45 minute car trip with DH, DD & family including hyper 7 year olds; a performance of GREASE (and a really fun audience participation number...YMCA) by DGD's Dance Company at an assisted living facility for adults with disabilities; a rainstorm complete with thunder, lightening and buckets of rain; at least 1,000 "Yo Mama" jokes complements of the 12 & 13 year olds; dinner with BFF and her family (12 of us in all...I think the restaurant was happy to see us go ; and a Red Velvet Cake Martini that will "knock your socks off" ; I'm here to answer your questions :

WONDERFUL evening ; haven't seen BFF in ages and the residents of the Brookwood Community SO enjoyed "the show". Watching those young kids interact with the residents was heartwarming. Warmed our hearts, watching them show kindness to those less fortunate. AND...that martini is STILL "knocking my socks off"!

This week is gonna be like that for me. Had to be at Applebee's at 7:30 to help run the pancake fundraiser our youth was putting on, then left there to come straight to work until 4. Sunday I have to be at church to do the hymn sing, then meeting my coworker around 2 to count the store because inventory is on Monday. Then Tuesday have a dr's appt that will take a good portion of the morning.

At least this coming weekend I get to go to Atlanta with Joe and have a relaxing weekend!

Don't you just LOVE springtime? Seems like everyone "wakes up from a long winters nap" and it's go~go~go. At least you've PLANNED a relaxing weekend; we don't have a free weekend to even attempt to do that!
