the Baggallini Messenger bags for sale?

Or where can I order them from that will ship TO Canada?!?!?! Help!

Thanks alot. :O)

hey doll. I will check it out.

Do u know any places near where you live? If you can think of any, can you give them a quick buzz to find out how much??? :O)

Amazon.com won't ship it to my address. Not canadian. and the cdn site for amazon doesn't have it. GRUMBLE

I did a search for the areas that my Mum will be at when she goes to the states, and no stores there sell the bags. grumble. i did email a request off to the stores located out west from the baggallini website, as well as one in kingston and one in montreal for the information on the bag. that is if they are still a seller of the product, and how much!

Not in Ontario, but I was on the ferry to Victoria (BC) the other day and they had them in the gift shop. I was all excited and grabbed one - was going to buy it - but saw the price....ready for this? $68.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUCH! I put it back!

I KNOW! so far i got a response back from a store in kingston, and it is $57 for rip stop and $60 for crinkle nylon *CHOKE CHOKE* PLUS 14% tax! whatever! PLUS shipping! um. no!

I will just hope hope hope that my mum finds one on her travels to maine this fall. $39 US is NOT $57 CAD with the exchange rate.

I just ordered something very similar from the shopping channel website. It's made by Heys and I think it was $30. I should receive it in a few days so I'll let you know if it's good.

I bought something similar at a store (EVEX Luggage Centre)today. It is smaller, and cost me @$17. You can see the bags HERE Some cool colours, too. Shipping reads: Shipping fees will be applied to all orders. Shipping will be a minimum of $5.00 or 10% of your order total. Orders can only be placed within the U.S.A. and Canada. Within Canada, Federal and Provincial Taxes will be applied. A lot cheaper than going through the US. The smaller bag that I bought has a zipper pocket on the flap, a centre zipper, and two pocket zippers (great for cell phone, camera, sunglasses) that zip from the side. The strap is adjustable, and, if you are Pooh sized, you could probably wear it as a fanny pack. I love the fact that there is practically NO weight to the thing. I bought lime green, baby blue, and navy (they didn't have the hot pink :( ) Something to consider.

You CAN find Baggallini's in Yorkville and if memory serves me correctly, they were $68 plus our wonderful 15% tax.

So, I ordered mine on ebags:

Messenger Baggallini's

They ship to Canada AND were cheaper then right here in Toronto. :thumbsup2

I LOVE my Baggallini!!

I don't remember, but the total with shipping was about $48 Canadian. What was great about them is they ship with a Canadian company who takes care of the customs, so you will know the final price (with shipping and custom charges) before ordering.

Humm, I just went on it now but didn't see a way to ship to Canada. :confused3 You might want to try calling them to find out. 1-800-820-6126.

Apparently they have had some web problems and the "ship to Canada" option has been down for eight weeks, and no idea when it will be back up. They don't ship via phone either. :sad2:

yea that was the problem i was having. i didn't get in touch yet with someone from my local CAA office, so i will try tomorrow. :O) Thanks everyone! OH and i did find a bag at MEC (Mountain Equipment CoOp)

so thats a lie. my neighbour was getting out of her van this evening and i yelled "STOP i have to see your bag" lmao! its a great bag. so i think i have to take a little trip to MEC!

I'd really like to get one of these Baggallini bags too. Anyone in Canada found them anywhere?

I'll post my response to another thread here, too, in case it's useful.

"I was surprised to find a Bagalini right here in Toronto. I think the name of the store was something like "Storage Solutions & More" and it was at the Colossus Power Centre (7575 Weston Road at Highway 7). They had messenger bags in black only (maybe $35?? $40??) and also had some "wallets" (more or less a waistpack) and some sort of toiletry bag, and I think they were both around the $30 mark, but significantly smaller than the messenger bag. The messenger bag looked good to me, but the kind of thing that would store stuff for one person, rather than for a family. I know some people complain that they don't end up liking the one-strap concept, either.

I can't seem to find the exact name of the store, and I can't find a website for the Colossus Power Centre, either, which is frustrating. If you're in Toronto, it would at least give you a chance to try one to see if it was comfortable."

I'll also add that I think they had a Baggalini curling iron bag (who knew?) too. The store was large and mostly carried things for organizing kitchens, but had a section on closets and travel where I found the baggalinis. I really don't think I was hallucinating the price - I think only $40 or so. I think it was close to either Homesense or Cotton Ginny in the plaza, on the side closest to Weston Road.

I hope this helps someone!

Cheers,

Thanks for the replies, I really want the hot pink baggallini. I can get one here:

http://www.ebags.com/baggallini/mes..._nylon/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=18644
for 37.99 Canadian funds shipped to my home or I can get one at www.shoebuy.com for 19.35US shipped to my resort(free shipping, 10.00 coupon, 10% discount for registering). From what I've read on other threads, the resort will hold something for you for up to a week. This is a pretty big savings if I order from shoebuy and they ship within a day or two. I think I'll order it 10 days before I go.
