Where I will probably stay next year at DIS Con...

If I want to stay onsite, I will probably stay at the All-Stars again. Why? The toliets are very powerful! When you flush them, the water gets sucked down! Poo has to chance of escape!

The toliet in Dayna's Y&BC had the water sprial around and around. All-Stars has a nice food court for breakfast. I did think about the Swan, but I didn't see a place to get breakfast. Anyway, I might choose the Swan for the convience. If we do Jellyrolls again, I will have to find a place to crawl to late at night (not that I'm a big drinker :) ).

I must admit I never really thought of toilet flushing when choosing a place to stay. :D

Barry, all you have to do is walk a few hundred feet from the Swan to the Dolphin to have breakfast at Tubbi's!

I'm staying at the Swan in April, and if it's as great as Glo and Pat say, I'll probably stay there for Dis-Con II. After all, it IS closer to Jellyrolls than the Dolphin! :D

I just need to jump in here and toot my horn for The Swan. I had a very enjoyable stay there during DIS-Con (thank you Nancy. ;) ), and I hope to stay there again for DIS-Con 2~~~unless I can secure Dayna's room at The YC. :D

Though, Livia had quite an awesome view at The Dolphin...hmmm??? I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the good fairies see fit for me. ;)

Well Barry, I know exactly the type of toilets you are describing at the All Stars......I love when they just 's*ck down' so strongly........and although I doubt the toilets in The Swan will perform to your standards, they worked fine for me. ;)

But the shower???!!!??? Now that is the BEST water pressure I've ever had on-site in WDW! Yes sir, The Best! :D

The Wilderness Lodge has the same kind of toilets (I can't believe I'm having this conversation  ). The suction was so intense I was afraid I was going to be pulled into the commode, never to be seen again.

Thanks Barry for giving us a new standard for judging hotels. I would have never thought of it.
I did enjoy my stay at the ASMo. but I never really thought that the toilets were the reason.:D

LOL - thanks for starting off my day with such a good laugh, Barry. Interesting to say the least - something most of us have probably never taken into consideration.

Hey, when you eat a bad meal, you'd be happy about the power of the toliets! :)

Okay, this one is just a little weird! Okay, alot weird! We may have reached a whole new rating system here. We can judge a hotel by the power of the flush. If it could make small children disappear, then we call it the extreme. The rating system can go down to the little strength and call it the weakling. Hmmm, think this will ever catch on? NAH! LOL:p

Hmmmm....I've heard of people choosing resorts based on the size of the bathroom (more family members staying in one room = larger bathroom requirements), but never because of the power of the flush! Barry, I think you've created a new hotel selection criteria!

Well I think Barry is ready for a cruise on the Disney Magic....those will suck down anything within a 3 foot radius :D

When I sailed the Wonder last year with Belle, I had already heard about the potency of the toilet flush. Advised by the veterans, I had a nice quite talk with her before sailing, explaining that it would be noisy. Nothing could have prepared the poor girl for ...that.

Now this is really a weird topic.

The trick with any of the powerful toilets is to NOT be sitting when you flush! And that goes double for the toilets on the cruise ships-not a pretty picture!
As for the original thought behind this thread, I'm not sure what to do yet. I want to use DVC points, but I sure loved staying at the YC. I thought about moving after DIS-Con, but I hate that idea. I really like staying put. I like to uppack and settle in. I am thinking my dates will be Dec. 1-12, regardless of where I stay.

Barb - I'm jealous of your long stay already! ;) I'll probably stay at the Swan or Dolphin during Dis-Con. I'd like to arrive on Sunday, 12/1, but a lot depends on where my DD ends up going to college in the fall, and whether or not she'll be home for Thanksgiving.

Barb,. I'm supposed to be in bed, but as you can see I'm not. I am going to stay at the YC next year for Dis-Con II, and then I will move over to the Boardwalk for my annual DVC stay. If you sneak your stuff into my room on the last day, Alan might not notice and move all of your stuff over to Boardwalk with ours. ;) It's worth a try. :D

Dayna do like I am...hopefully BCV will be open by then..and just stay there for both

Pat, that would be the ideal situation, wouldn't it?! If only we knew for sure we could get in. Then I wouldn't have to worry about switching over to another resort after DIS-Con. Do you have any information on the BCV? i.e. points per night, when it's opening, when can we start asking for availability, room layouts (studios, etc?) Thanks! :)
Dayna, LOL, poor Alan. He's not going to know what hit him after we're through! :);)
