Below is where I dined over my recent trip to Disney World and a letter grade:

Rose & Crown (dinner): Dined here twice (arrival day and last day). Had the prime rib and apple cobbler and everything was hot and delicious. I had the best server (Jamie) on my last day and he made it an unbelievable dining experience. The manager happened to stop by and I sung his praises, as did the large table next to me. A (1st night) & A++ (last night)

Plaza Restaurant (dinner): Had a burger, fries & a brownie sundae here. The sundae was good, but the burger was just so-so. B for sundae & D+ for burger & fries.

Crystal Palace (lunch & dinner): Both meals were good. There was turkey & prime rib for dinner and flanked steak & pork for lunch. The food was hot and tasty. B+ for both meals

Fresh @ Dolphin (lunch): this place is very good. Nice selection or food & dessert. This is an all-you-can-eat, but drinks are not included. B

Concourse Steakhouse (dinner): This was a pleasant meal. Hot & tasty. Was a little surprised it was not noisier than it was with Chef Mickey's next door. B

Tony's Town Square (lunch): this meal was out of desperation. All of the counter services had long lines and I was too tired to deal with it. I only had to wait about 5 minutes or so for a table at Tony's. Had the spaghetti & meatballs. A little pricey, but worth the avoiding of the lines. C-

Starring Rolls Bakery (breakfast): had a cinnamon roll here for breakfast and it was good. A

Ghiradelli's (dessert): was at DTD to do a little shopping and dropped in for a brownie sundae. Service was quick and the sundae was sinfully wonderful. A+

1900 Park Fare (dinner): buffet was not bad. Characters were Cindy, the prince & Suzy the mouse. I think they could you a few more characters there. B-

Cindy's (lunch): the meal was very good, as was the service. When I went to check in, I found out that my PS was cancelled by someone I have no idea who she is, but it was not me and the CM was very good about it. Belle was in the lobby greeting guests. B

Casey's (lunch): had a quick lunch of a hot dog & fries here one day. Good & fast. B-

50's Primetime (dinner): had the fried chicken dinner here. Very tasty. Server was good too! A-

Sci-Fi (lunch): had a burger & fries here and it was just so-so. CM seemed confused and a little frazzled checking people in. Server was ok. D+

African Outpost (snack): grabbed a quick ice cream here. It was good, but the CM charged me for 2 when I only got one. Had to wait for his manager to come to void it out. There is a sitting area near the water, but I found it to be quite noisey. C+

California Grill (dinner): this was one of the best meals I have ever had at WDW!!! I had the roasted chicken and substituted the sides for mashed potatoes (no problem). Tried the warm chocolate valrhona cake for dessert and it was amazing!!! Had a table by the window with a beautiful view of the MK. Stepped out of the deck to view the fireworks. One thing is that the music is not pumped in outside and they were playing holiday music over the speaker, which made watching & listening the Wishes show a little difficult. A+

Spoodles (dinner): Had the ziti again this trip, but the sauce was different. More of a creamy type, rather than a tomato one. Was not as good as last trip, but not bad. Experience would have been more enjoyable if there was not a table of infants and toddlers screaming and running around next to me, while the mothers chit chatted. B-

Thank you for the reviews.....where did you stay this trip? I remember reading that you had questions about the carribean beach!! Did you happen to notice if others came out to see the fireworks or only diners from the cali. grill? Im eating at chef mickeys on our arrival night and wanted to see the fireworks from the contemporary.
Thanks

We are planning on eating at the Cal. Grill so it was good to hear your A+ review! I'm curious though why you went out on the observation deck to view Wishes when you had a window seat overlooking MK? That is our plan (if we are lucky to get a much-coveted window seat) since I read that the music is piped into the restaurant during Wishes.

Thanks for the reviews! princess:

Enjoyed your reviews. Too bad about those mothers at Spoodles..."all about them" I guess.

We had dinner at CG a couple of weeks ago and I thought we did hear the music and narration...have to check with the others as maybe I've gone brain dead! Perhaps the hotel hadn't started the holiday music at that point though. I loved the fact that when we returned to our table, we had all new place settings...nice touch!

Daisie I do know that there is another observation deck on the 4th floor.

We have often had really fine servers at R&C. One of the reasons we enjoy it so much.

Wonderful reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

Very nice reviews. Three of my favorites still look good: the Rose and Crown, California Grill, and Spoodles. Thanks. :)

I went out to the observation deck to take pictures. I had tried to take some inside the restaurant, but they kept coming out too dark and when I used the flash it was reflecting off the glass. I don't know if they pumped the music inside the restaurant, just that they did not do it outside on the deck.

I stayed at the CBR my first 2 nights, then headed over to the Wilderness Lodge for the rest of my stay. There were several people that came outside to view the fireworks.

Great reviews! I'm wondering why you gave Fresh a B? Was it because the drinks were not included? We will be trying Fresh very soon and have heard wonderful things about thier buffet until your B rating. It sounds like you really know your restuarants! I appreciate your honest reviews! Thanks!

Fresh was good, but I found the vegetable selection quite limited. The pork and the swordfish were tasty, as was the desserts. I was also looking for a salad bar, but did not see one there. I would recommend trying Fresh. The day I went, there were very few people in there (like maybe 6 of us). This made it nice and quiet. As with the other buffets, I guess I did assume that a non-alcoholic drink was included, but not a big deal.

I try to dine at least at one new restaurant each visit. This year it was Fresh, the California Grill & Ghiradelli's. When I go with family, the dining is more along the lines of character meals or quick counter stops. When I go solo, I try to dine at more of the sit-down restaurants. I bring a book, sit back and enjoy. I do bring breakfast items with me, so as to save $$.

Terk-1.....I checked out your photos and i gotta tell ya..you have a great eye for photography. BEAUTIFUL pictures. Thanks.

Forgot one.

Whispering Canyon Cafe (lunch) -- went for lunch on the day that I checked into the Wilderness Lodge. Had the fried chicken dinner and it was hot and tasty. CM was great. She noticed I was there with a book, so kept the antics to her other tables. Lunch was less crowded than dinner. B
