Where/how do I buy my parks tickets?

I need some hand holding with this one. I am headed to DLP on 10 June. We are staying off-site at the Marriott and will buy our tickets when we get there. We plan to drive to the park (and pay for parking). We want to buy annual passes and take advantage of the *free* annual pass for the children.

My question is, when I go to the ticket counter outside the park can I get the annual pass there (and the free one for my son)? Or should I try to call and order them adhead of time? Also, will they reimburse us for the parking fee we paid?

Sorry for the simple question, but DLP is so new to me. I know exactly what to do for WDW, but DLP is a whole new world......

TIA!

We're going to do near enough the same thing Tara. We are going to drive into the car park. Then when we get to the gates, instead of going to the ticket booths, we will vear right (past the entrance to the Disneyland Hotel) and buy are passes at Guest Relations (there is normally a much shorter line). Then we will go into the park, enjoy, and head to the AP office (between Discoveryland and Fantasyland across from the Castle Stage) to get them processed.

I have heard nothing but horror stories about doing it in advance, and I think you have cut it too fine (they are very slow in their admin at DLP). As for parking reimbursement, not sure about that one. We are either going to take a chance or take the Marriott bus.

Thanks for the heads up on guest relations. I will plan to do the same. Is the Guest Relations inside the Disneyland Hotel or outside the hotel, near the park turnstiles?

I called DLP today and asked about buying the APs. The cast member told me they needed 12 business days to process the request, so I am out of that window. She also informed me that, once at the park, we would have to buy a one day ticket and then have the cost of that applied to the annual pass at the AP office. I asked about my son, since we plan to take advantage of the free AP for him. She said we may need to buy him a ticket but she wasn't sure. She told me to explain the sitation to the people at the ticket counter and see what happens. Hopefully they will be accomodating at Guest Relations.

Thanks for you input!

No probs. It's outside of the hotel. The hotel is split into three sections. I noticed you have been before. If you go the right side of the main building under the Hotel Corridor you will see a small out building in front of you next to the turnstyles. This contains the entrance to the Shareholder's lounge, left luggage and guest relations. If you can print out the free child offer, you can do the paper work and pay for the adult passes there. Then go through the gates and on to the AP office for processing.

The alternative is to buy a day ticket for each of you and get the value taken off the passes. But with language and business ethos, I think that could be a bigger headache than going to guest relations.

Can you send me the link to the free child offer paperwork? I can see the offer on the DLP website, but don't see a link to print out any forms (I speak no French, so I may be missing something!!)

Thanks!

Will you find yourself in Paris at all before or during your trip? If so, you can purchase your tickets at the Disney Store on Champs Elysess (sp sorry). We found this to be a great convenience while in Paris as DLP was a day trip for us....
