Wow, you did have a hectic morning. Isn't that the WORST feeling in the world, when you realize your child isn't with you? Thinking about it almost make your heart race and panic set in! Glad all was well in the end.

Can you believe 18 days?! Oh my, I haven't done much to start getting ready to go either! I do have my toiletries and all together. I haven't even started getting clothes together because we're still wearing them! I had hoped it would cool down a bit before we left but it's going to be in the 90's here over the weekend.

How is your packing coming?

I've been stashing stuff as I get it done, so the bulk of it is in one area. I'm going to wait to get the rest next week. I've got the inlaws coming this weekend so I won't be doing any Disney stuff until next week, crunch time!

Lost children is the worst!
I lost my youngest at disneyland getting in line for the Matterhorn. He was 4 at the time and the 5 minutes it took to find him were horrible.

Yikes I hope we are over the "lost kid" stage. I've had enough of that! I had nightmares last night of my DS4 riding Splash Mountain. I had hoped we could all ride together this year, but that dream just might have stopped that

I've been fooling around over on the DISign boards and got a great stick figure design. I decided to make a couple of magnets to put on the car for the trip down. I thought to do "honk if you DIS!" a little to late so it's just "Do you DIS?"

Ah, yes, I know you have waited so long for this post. Finally, here it is the reconstructed lime green tees!!!!! I had some fun doing these tees but you aren't so much reconstructing as reassembling.

Here's mine. I used a tank top that I already had to use kinda like a pattern. I'm also wearing my QVC Mickey necklace. Ain't he cute?



The girls came out similarly. Becky's was so huge, though that it easy became a dress with a ruffle!



We were originally going to wear these on our "morning off". Now that Mom has messed up, err, requested a change of plans, we are either going to wear these on our arrival day or to Epcot. Then on the the other day we are going to wear the tie dye. I'm thinking these for Epcot cuz' it will be our long (no afternoon break) day. IDK, any thoughts? anyone? anyone?

MNSSHP Outfits
You have already seen Rachel's Jasmine outfit posted way back.

I was able to make my "beauty" tee shirt. I blinged (it's a verb now) out an Old Navy tee. It was actually quite easy to do. I happen to have a ton of sticker paper that goes in my printer. I printed out the word using a pretty font, but not too fancy. Then I used my trusty exacto knite and cut it out. I used the negative part of the word (think stencil) and stuck it to my shirt. Then I have a little chalk bag that I have for marking quilting stencils. I pounched the chalk over the word and then pealed it up. So basically I had the word in chalk on my shirt. It sounds confusing, but really very easy. Then I just glued those rhinestones on one by one. It went much faster than I would have thought. I started it while hubby watched a game and I finished by halftime.

Hubby's was much easier. I zazzled it. I was a little disappointed, though. I thought it would be screen print but it was like painted on. It looks good, just wasn't what I expected.

The Sister Situation I called my sister yesterday and she STILL doesn't know for sure if she is coming or not. She said her hubby just stopped working overtime. She emailed today that he was going to see if he could get the time off. Brother! It would drive me nuts to not know whether or not I was going to Disney. I've written her off for this trip. I'm giving 15 to 1. Any takers?

The in-laws are coming tomorrow. I'm so sad that I won't be DISing much this weekend. I'll try to hop on when I can. Just 11 more days

Oh Well, we are flying anyway and I don't think Continental would let us stick anything onto the side of their planes

She told me this a.m. that her hubby is not able to get off. Her birthday is on Oct 8 and I told her as a b-day present to just fly her and her daughter into MCO. Splurge a little.

I'm sure your shirts will be great and really it is about the fun in doing them. Congrats on getting the Passporter You will love it. As far as Unofficial vs. Birnbaums, I love Unofficial. It is really great and very informative. It has information that you can't find anywhere. I think I had a Birnbaums once and it just wasn't as informative.

Today is packing day! All the in-laws are gone and everything is back to normal. Well, except Becky is home sick today. Just before I was heading out to pick the girls up from school yesterday I get a call that she got sick. She feels better today but I want her home and resting. We are going to need energy next week.

Oh, and the final update on my sister is........she's not coming. She finally cancelled and if you've been following this, I am not surprised. We all are disappointed, however, especially Becky who really loves her cousin. Rachel asked this week if she could bring a friend and I told her no, of course. I think maybe when the kids are old enough to explore the parks on their own, I might let them invite a friend. Maybe for a hard ticket event or something?

My last child birthday party is finished. Cal loved his birthday and after every gift said, "Awesome, it's just what I wanted!"

Now, I am going to save this post JIC it disappears again.

OMG! Only 3 days now. We are so close I just washed the clothes we need last night and I'm off to pack today!

Hey, 3 more days! Wow, I really need to get packing! I have been doing laundry. I'm almost done with that. I've been ironing what needs to be ironed (plus I had a huge pile of stuff to be ironed and I didn't want that waiting for me when we got home) and setting clothes aside. I still feel like there is tons to do but I don't have a lot left to do besides pack.

We're getting VERY excited! I know you all must be also!

Gotta go take my DS to school! I"ll check in later.

I would love to not have a pile of laundry when I get home but it looks like that may be the case. We've got so much to do on Saturday, DD10 has to cheer at a game and DD7 is in a parade. I'm not stressing myself out before we go to try and do everything.
