my sister was in a national speech competiton in SC, so I've been there
another road trip we took was basicaly a tour of all the sights of Western US, so for that we went to/through:

NM
AZ (the Grand Canyon is awesome!)
CA (visited it then twice before moving here...I loove Yosemite and Muir Woods!)
like, a tiny section of Nevada
Idaho (where we broke down!)
a little corner of Montana, driving through
Wyoming (I think...we went to Yellowstone, and part of Yellowstone is in Wyoming, so I think we did....but it has been, like, 8 yrs. ago so I can't remember for sure)
Utah
Colorado
