Where have the WONDERS gone?

Anyone still out there for this weight loss group? We are starting out biggest lower contest at work again and I could use the help :) I put on about 5 lbs since the end of our last contest and need to lose 15 lbs to hit my goal weight this trip!
 
We all got a little bit lost I think :goodvibes The thread got shorter and shorter everyweek :confused3
 
What are the Wonders? I'm not going to Disney anytime soon, but I could definitely use some encouragement and accountability on my trek to lose some weight. :)
 
I think we fizzles out. I am up a little 3lbs but not to terribly. However I should be going down and I am not.:headache: The wonders did give me alot of encouragement and support though.
 

I guess we all got a little off track. I was going to post a thread about getting started again. How about it everyone? I am back to the gym and WW. Let get going.

I've been trying on clothes to take on our WDW trip tomorrow, and sadly, many are just "a bit too tight." (Translated: I can't even begin to zip the zipper!) :headache:

I'll look for the thread when we get back! I'm hoping that the extra walking we'll do while in the World will help keep any extra pounds from Food and Wine from coming home with me!

I'm hanging in there...haven't been to the gym much in the last few weeks, but I will be starting back up to my "normal" routine next week!

I did manage to lose 6lbs though! I'm sure i've put a little back on because I haven't been faithful to my eating healthy or exercising.

My FAVORITE class EVER is Zumba! Love it love it love it!! There are DVD's available, but I much prefer taking an actual class. It's soooooooooooooo much fun! Half the people in the class can't really dance and do the steps as well as our instructor, but no one cares! It's an awesome stress reliever as you just literally dance your cares away! If you've never heard of Zumba before, go to their website. It kind of explains it a little. The basic gist of it is latin dance inspired moves. You shake and shimmy parts of your body that you never knew you had...but it's so much fun!
 
This is a good time for me to join this thread. Since most of my clothes have regularly been shrinking :goodvibes I finally started an exercise class this week. I guess I should weigh myself and start to really keep track. The last time I weighed myself - I was horrified!!:scared1:
 
I'm up for it, too. I know I could also use a "how to avoid the huge 102 count bags of halloween candy every time I go to the store" support group.
 
I will get back on the wagon. I have lost 20 lbs since April.(only 50 more to go) But have neglecting the gym. Count me in!
 
Hey Liz, wanna join the Y together?

My friends said it is way to crowded. I am all up for doing the walk at the Route 40 park or the Y in Elkton I herd is less crowded but not that close. Let me look into some things. Another mom in Ethans class was talking about it yesterday; let me talk to her if the crowds have calmed down.
 
I'm at 207 and need to get below 200...hopefully 190 before the cruise! It really helps when I type it out and see it on the screen...gives me a little more incentive!
 
Can I join if I only have about 8 pounds to lose? I originally lost 118 pounds in 2006 and have put 10 back on. I lost two of those and I am now working on the last 8. Want to get it before it gets me!
 
Gosh I just can't see this thread title without out thinking of the song "Where Have All The Flowers Gone"!!! (And isn't it a cheerful little ditty? -- Oh dear, I'm really aging myself again! :teeth: )
