Where have I been?

How did I not know about MNSSHP on 9/15???
A little background:
I'm on the Disboards at least once every other day (busy time in my life right now, can't always get on daily... but I do try.) I've always wanted to go to MNSSHP but have not went during that time of the year (I usually go in July and November.)
This year, I'm planning my Disneymoon at WDW for the middle of September, and don't you know it... I just found out yesterday (on the boards) that there's a MNSSHP date on 9/15 - I'll be there - bought the tickets yesterday!!!

Now, how do I get my DH2B excited as well?

Ok, please give me all the goods and bads about MNNSHP, please?

We will be there during that time and it seems really fun.

Also, the dates listed on Disney's website are:

September 15, 2006, 7:00PM - 12:00AM
September 22, 2006, 7:00PM - 12:00AM
September 29, 2006, 7:00PM - 12:00AM
(and of course the October ones).

I am guessing these are the only dates available? Th OP meantioned the 16th. The more option for dates is even better.

Also, my youngest son, 10, has Asperger's, he just started getting into characters last Sept. I would assume it's fairly tame by it's name? Correct?

I just have to justify the extra money for tickets, since I have been preaching about different options for our upcoming trip to 2 others in my travel group, and really stressing on the final bill, etc. The other's in my travel party are males 23 and 22.

Also, is the real Evil Queen seen at this often? Might be a big selling point for myself.

I was shocked also- normally the party is only 9/30 forward. Guess it was so popular, they wanted to add dates. I asked DH a few weeks ago (the day I read about it here), and he said to go for it! You can excite your DF by telling him that the tickets are limited for this event, so crowds may be lighter, there is free trick-or-treating (awesome candy), there is a special parade, special fireworks, free face painting, fortune telling, and special limited pinsmerchandise for sale only during the party. It is a blast, and we've done it a few times already! You are going during the free dining period, so you could always make an ADR at LTT before the party, where the characters will dress up for the party.
