WHERE exactly does the boat to DTD drop you....?

Leaving from POR, on the boat to Downtown Disney, where does it drop you off at? I assume you get picked back up at that same spot or are there other places around DTD? TIA

It drops you off at the dock beside the rainforest cafe. You have to take a shuttle boat to get to the dock at cirque. It picked up at the same spot for the return trip.

It would not drop you off at Disney Quest, only at the stop mentioned by the previous post near Rainforest Cafe. It is a bit of a hike to Disney Quest from there, since you're going from one end to the other, but if you're not pressed for time, it's fun to shop your way through DTD.

There is another boat that takes you to the west side. It's on the same dock just different queue lines. If you want to go to DQ, you'll exit the boat and get in the other line for the other boat.

thank you! i am not familiar w/the layout of dtd, so did not know if it was a convenient walk or not... taking two boats would be fun... thanks for the info

So, you are saying from POR we get dropped near RFC, but then can get off and get another boat right there to the other side...West Side. IF so, then at the end of the night and we are exhausted, we would be able to take a boat to the boat that goes to the resort?

Technically yes. I don't know what time the west side to marketplace boat stops running (I think 11pm) but I do know the DTD-POR boat ends at 11pm.

You might have to wait a little bit for the boats to come but you should be able to. On our last trip, we saw quite a few people going from POFQ to DTD then enter the other line for West Side.

Even during the summer months, the POR-DTD boat stops at 11pm? I assume you take a bus back then, if it is later than this? Where are the bus stops at in DTD? Just trying to figure out the best plan for that night, so we can cover the whole thing, with the least amount of walking.

The buses run until 2am and there are 2 stops. One is in the marketplace, and the other at Pleasure Island. The marketplace stop is near The Art of Disney store, and the PI stop is near Planet Hollywood.

I don't know in the summer months because I've only gone during value season.

You go through Saratoga Springs and come in through the "back", near Rainforest Cafe, Ghirardelhi, Lego Store, Pin trading hut, and the massive Disney store.
