We always go to wdw for vacation...this year we want to try something new.....we have a 6 year old and my sister and her family they have a 2 and 8 year old any suggestions??Not the disney cruise either since one child is small.....would like a warm sunny place during april school vacation...we are leaving from manchester, NH or Logan......really want a all inclusive type resort with kids activites.....thanks for any help:D

There are some Club Meds that have kids clubs, they are more "family" oriented. THey are all inclusive, also Sandals/Beaches have at least one property with kids activities.

Not all inclusive but, Tampa/St Pete Beach/ Clearwater Beach, beautiful beaches, nice resorts, and Busch Gardens had a theme park there. Or the beach area on the panhandle between Fort Walto and Panama City, Florida is also beautiful beach area, lots of mini golf, shopping (well, adults have to have some fun) and a nice aquarium/ dolpin show place.

what about williamsbug, va? very family oriented and there are theme parks there.

check out www.familyfun.com they do reviews on family type vacations and have some great ideas.

How about Branson, Mo? Lots of family actitivities there. Should be lots of info on their website. Have only been there with adults but saw many families enjoying the area. I think the nearest airport is Springfield.

Carnival Cruises allow two year olds in their Camp Carnival kids activities.

We took a Western Carribean cruise last May with my girls who were 4.5 and 2 at the time. We chose this cruise mainly because they allowed two year olds in the camp. They loved it! We were given a beeper and could check in on them anytime. We took the girls on all of our shore excursions and really only left them in the camp on "at sea" days and after dinner.

The girls enjoeyd the shore excurisions and believe it or not, my little one LOVED swimming with the stingrays in the Cayman Islands! This trip was a lot of fun and it's a pretty good alternative to theme parks for families with young kids.

The Sands Resorts at Myrtle Beach, SC!!! Particularly the Sand Dunes or Ocean Dunes. They just opened a water park on site for kids and kids eat free and they have a kids club and it is right on the ocean. The beach there is great and hey, what could be better than South Carolina. They also have indoor pools in addition to outdoor pools. April could still be a little cool for ocean water there. Try this website: www.sandsresorts.com
