Where else do you go for Vacations

Majorca
Ibiza
Magaluf
France
London
Wales
Los Angeles
The lake district
New York

Next year it will probably be Greece, France or a Spanish Island.

I'm the only family member who likes going to Disney theme parks, so I go solo. We enjoy traveling all over for family vacations. Last summer we were in Seattle and Vancouver. For this summer, it's -miles, so that helps a lot.

Before we found WDW we used to take a trip out to Yellowstone once a year. We would drive from Michigan and make stops at Mt. Rushmore and a few little towns on the way. I think my favorite trip was before we were married we drove from Michigan to Mt. Rushmore, then to Yellowstone to camp. From there we camped a few nights at the Grand Canyon, down to New Mexico to go white water rafting on the Rio Grande and then back up north with a stop in Ohio to visit Sea World. Talk about exhausting but I loved it.

Last year we went to D.C. and had a great time. Next year we are going to Williamsburg and Virgina Beach.

We have also done Niagara Falls, Cleveland (Rock & Roll/Football Hall of Fame), and Maine Coast.

We have yet to have a bad vacation. I put a lot of effort into researching and planning wherever we go and it seems to pay off.

My parents live in Cody, Wyoming so we go to Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks every year
Rocky Mountian Park
Mesa Verde
Albaquerque
Mt Rushmore
Hawaii
Since my son started school at Clemson University
we went this year to the
Great Smokey Mountains and Nashville
Nashville

Dallas/Fort Worth. We cash in all our airline miles and then head for the ballpark at arlington to catch as many rangers versus New York Yankeee games as we can. Its usually a 3 game stand. Plus 2 ds got to see red sox versus rangers too last time. Its the only place we can see the yankees up close, unlike in ny and we stock up on barbeque etc. and get to see all our old friends and neighbors and sightsee too.

Hawaii and Disney, that's about it on our dime. Dh's company sends us to a few places too. Last year they sent us to West Palm Beach and Colorado Springs. This year it's Las Vegas (in 1 month!) and hopefully Italy!! (dh has to win that trip yet) Dh's company has sent us to Disney twice and it's been awhile, so hopefully they'll do it again soon! ;)

I want to work at the same company your dh does..

My husband has been to Ireland for work and he is going back.. but I never get to go. :(

Forgot to add:

Wisconsin Dells
Bettendorf, Iowa
Canyon deChelly
Montezuma's Castle

Both boys and DH are very active in scouting, so they always spend a week at scout camp every summer

Amy - is that the Greater Pittsburgh Scout Council?? Some of their guys went with my son to Philmont Scout Ranch this past July/August! :)

Mmmmm-
Hawaii (3 times)
St. John (Virgin Islands)
Cancun
Atlantis (Bahamas)
Las Vegas
Disney Cruise

Go to Disneyland several times a year and have been to Disneyworld three times. Disney is my favorite but my family likes other destinations.

<font color=navy>We often go camping in the Sierras, and every few years I try a big vacation - WDW, Europe ... :)

<SIZE>Now that our DS and his wife are living in Orlando, we'll be visiting at least twice a year. Other vacations include Las Vegas, Bowling Green Ky, Nashville, and short trip to Niagra Falls. Hoping to hit alot of new places when we retire. I'd love to go to several different states fairs. BUT WDW will always be number one!!</SIZE>

Spain would probably be our favourite - there are the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands or mainland Spain to choose from. I wouldn't mind staying near Universal Mediterranea sometime. We take regular short breaks around Ireland as we'd like our kids to have seen all around it by the time they are adults, but the weather puts us off taking a long holiday here!

I used to go to many other places, caribbean, tahiti, europe, but we kept finding ourselves going back to Disney. I really like Sandals and would like to try Beaches. Now especially with small children I definately see it as our primary destination for a long time. Though I would liketo try disney HHI and my DH promised me an adults only trip to Vegas for my 35th bday.

I've been to the following:

Jamaica
Atlantic Ocean (Conn and Rhode Island)
New York City
Niagra Falls
Washington DC
New Orleans
Kentucky and Tennessee
Disney (4 times!!!!)
Mackinac Bridge and Island (many times)
Skiing in Breckenridge and Keystone CO
Waterskiing on the Mississippi (many times)
Las Vegas (planning our 2nd trip there)

Pam-Did you actually plan a trip to Bettendrof, IA? Just curious because that is where I grew up. :)

I seem to travel to the same places over and over.
Minneapolis-MOA
San Antonio
WDW

My parents live in Idaho now so we have been there twice in a year (DD and I twice; DH once.)

This summer we are going to Door County with my parents. Should be a fun time! :)

Last year we went to Arizona, Texas and Savannah. This year it will be Arizona and Texas.

My husband is going to Antarctica in 4 days~~<i>without</i> me. No fair!

Recently we've been to Michigan, Williamsburg, California, Washington State, Canada, and this year we will be going to Jamaica and (hopefully) Paris.
