Deuce - Chihuahua - he was a twin. By the time we got to look at the litter, his twin was gone, so he is Deuce. Conviently enough though, we love Deuce Bigalow and my honey has a thing for Harley's and they make a Softail Deuce. There could be many explainations.
Athena - Chihuahua - named after my honey's dear departed dog named Athena. It seems to be a curse on this dog though. She has a wicked heart murmur from pulmonic stenosis.
George - long haired tuxedo cat - named in honor of a lady that I knew from the internet. Her name was Georgie. She took in all the neighborhood strays, fed them, and made sure that they had shelter in the middle of St. Louis winters. She was a good woman, God rest her soul. George came into my life shortly after she passed.
BC - black cat - any questions?
Cha-Cha - blue grey cat - named for the spokesfrog of RFC. We had just come home from our first trip to WDW together when he was born. He looked like an alien with these huge eyes and a BIG head. He is a beautiful cat though.
Arwen - grey and white tuxedo cat - named for the character in the Lord of the Rings. I don't know why....it just fit.
Fred - asian firebellied toad - Fred, Fred the Frog.
DD aka Don't Die - asian firebellied toad - when asked what to name the third companion that we added to Fred's tank, I piped up with the crack "Don't Die" and it stuck. Po and Barney are no longer with us.
That's all the existing critters. Mickey
