Where does the Dream go on sea day?

There a TV there that shows the map. You can also watch it in your stateroom.

You’ll be moving all day and sometimes you will cross paths with other cruise ships.

Once we crossed paths with another Disney ship, which was really beautiful to see.

On the Dream and the Fantasy there is a large screen somewhere on deck 3 4 or 5 off the atrium that also has the info. I forget the exact location but we came across it one time.

if you will have wifi while sailing

a fun app is marine traffic

this will show you your position on a map and the ships around you ..... similar to this at marinetraffic.com

This is true for most short Bahamas itineraries, but you will see plenty of land in Europe and Alaska. So, OP, it's really itinerary dependent. We like the side closer to the shoreline to...shh...pick up those cell phone signals - and sometimes really cool land panoramas.
