Where does ship dock in Key West??

It is a reather small harbor and they dock at the main dock, right downtown....a 2 block walk and your in the city!

Thank you!!! It shows we are docking at OM (outer mole)...our excursion leaves from behind the Westin at Pier B.... it that too far to walk?? Cab??? Any recommendations?

So the Outer Mole is on Navy Pier, you have to take a shuttle to get off the base (last non-Disney cruise). I think it dropped us off at Whitehead and Front (by the art and historical building) which is 1/2 block in front of Westin. If they drop at Front and Duvall that would be about 4 blocks.

If you are docking at the outer mole, Disney will have the shuttles running to bring you to the Westin Pier area.

It is not far, but with traffic took us at least 15 min.

Well, you have to take the tram from the ship to get off the naval base. You can't walk that. But you certainly could walk from the gate of the naval base into "town". Key West isn't that large.

Does the tram only make the one stop?
I'm thinking we might start our own walking tour at the Westin area and end up close to the naval base entrance. Would we be picked up there, or do we have to walk back to the Westin?

They can pick you up outside the Naval Base. There is a small area to wait for the tram outside the base.
