Where does it say online how much you owe on your resort?

When I go into MyDisneyExperience, I can't find out what I owe for our room. I had a discount applied the other day and want to make sure it shows. I also wanted to pay off the balance, but don't see that option either.

Please know that I am totally tech-stupid. Probably staring right at it.

I asked a CM in chat the other day and was told that if it's a room only reservation it won't appear online and that you'd need to call. When I asked about paying off the balance he said that they might be able to help? Not sure why I wouldn't be allowed to pay off the balance before check in. I'm waiting until the discounts come out Monday before I finalize my plans, then I'll call and hopefully pay everything off.

You can't see balances on line but you can pay off ahead of time. You have to call to get the mailing address if mailing check. If paying by plastic, cm at resides can take numbers and apply. I mailed check to pay off and it took couple of months to clear. In the mean time I now have a credit since I paid balance with plastic. 2 weeks later check cleared.

If you click the "My Disney Experience" tab at the top right, you should see "Reservations and Tickets" as an option in the drop down menu. Click on this and you will see your package information. It should list "Remaining Balance" and give you the option to "Make A Payment".

I have room only, so I guess I don't get to see the balance. My idea was to pay off the balance on the Disney Visa Card and earn a few more disney dollars to take with us. I will call, then, and see how it goes.

You are right, I have a room only part of my split stay and it doesn't show the amount. Weird. You might try online chat. I bet they can tell you.

You have to call to pay off a room only reservation. I have done this my last 2 trips.

Like the previous poster said, it depends if it's room only or a package. The only way I've been able to view the total room charge on my room only reservation is under MDE-->my reservations and tickets-->change reservation. At the bottom of that screen it showed the total cost of the room, then I just deducted the one night's deposit I had already paid. The package was easier, I'm fairly sure it showed up on the main reservations page in MDE. I'm not sure about paying ahead of time, I just assumed it was billed at check in.
