The last time we were at Disney, the credit card plastic type ticket was the room key as well as the park entrance ticket and they had Tinkerbell printed on them.
Now the tickets are no longer packaged like this, so where do you get your tickets from and are they still plastic?
;)

Most Disney tickets are plastic covered paper. Even the Annual Pass tickets are paper!
They do tend to be quite hardy though, and it's easy to get new ones from Guest relations if there is a problems with them getting a bit worn.

For a good value reliable source of attraction tickets try:

http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/

Although it depends on how long you are staying, and how often you want to visit WDW.
If you are staying on-site for more than 10 days, then it may be cost effective for at least one of you to get an Annual Pass you can then go for an AP discount on your room plus you get all the other AP benefits :)

Last year we got ours from Attraction Tickets Direct and as you get tickets rather than vouchers there was no extra queueing on our first day but this year we got them from TCD with our holiday package as when we booked the tickets were the cheapeast although the drawback is vouchers to redeem at guest services instead of actual tickets

Last year we got our direct from Disney and the 10 day hoppers were hard plastic but my AP was paper. This year we got 14 day ultimate tickets from Orlando Ticket Deals and they're all paper. I wish they were plastic but it just means we'll need to look after them a bit better.
