Where does dust come from?

Do you know the answer to this perplexing question?

How could a fairly new house have dust especially in the winter when the windows are shut tight?

Is your house dusty?

(I’m not asking this question for me it’s for my friend “Paul”….I really don't care about dust ...)

Bleech...dust...grumble, grumble. I am washing my baseboards getting ready for the painter tomorrow.

My theory is all the funk gets trapped in your carpet and everytime you walk it flings everywhere.
It also drops into your air return vents and blows everywhere.

Tolirose….you are right, I am a man and I don’t worry too much about dust…the only dust I bother cleaning is the dust on my 32 inch television set screen. I gotta get a clear unobstructed view of those trampoline-ing girls on The Man Show. Dang dust ruins it for me!
