Not most of them that we saw last week. Most were covered and had no CM. A couple had CMs. Some were not covered and had no CM which caused confusion with some people (ok, my kids) trying to tap anyway.

My SIL saw tons of people line jumping at Easter on a particular ride. I think She said Splash. She told the CM at the front of the line and got a shrug. She then saw someone in business casual attire and told him. He said they'd look into it. Not sure anything happened.

Sadly the only thing that would probably get the 2nd check points turned back on and having CM's checking again would be a physical confrontation among guests that ends up on social media. To which the canned reply would be "We are looking further into the issue regarding a physical confrontation between our theme park guests. Disney condones these types of interactions and wants to provide a fun and safe experience for everyone. We will have measures put in place to avoid similar situations in the future." and then they'll get rid of the 2nd check pt again 3 months later.

BTMRR and KS, they just stayed in 2 separate lanes. Those are the only 2 I distinctly remember.

Not always. I've seen more CMs at the covered touch point than not. They keep the stand-by to FP+ ratios in check.

Regular flagrant line jumper, yes not much action there, but caught jumping from regular into FP+ will get you removed back to start of the regular line

This obviously isn't what they say publicly, but it is the effect of their unwillingness to deal with the problem directly.

Only if it's not also a merge point, which most of them are. Although, I bet it's still saving $$ (even with the CM doing merge) just by avoiding IT issues w/ those unused touch points - if they don't use them, they don't have to fix them when they break...

Three weeks ago, we saw only one attraction with CMs at the second checkpoint. Can't recall which attraction. All of which begs the question...if they are only going to staff one of the two checkpoints, doesn't it make sense to staff the second one to catch people who cross over after the first checkpoint? That way, the people who thought that they were getting away with something would have gone all the way to the front of the attraction only to have to turn around and go all the way back out and start over again. Seems like that would be a better way to catch and stop cheating than to simply allow people to crawl under ropes and barriers once they pass the first checkpoint. Make them do the walk of shame in full view of the other guests.

They'd have to be using the 2nd check point to catch anyone which mostly they are not.

I have zero experience of knowing someone jumped lines and I've never felt like I was getting a different experience while waiting in standby.. It's not widespread and not really adding time for those that get away with it.

LOL, like heck I'm going to take time out of my vacation to restrain some family that causes me another few seconds of waiting. If Disney can't be bothered to pay their employees to do it (when I'm paying Disney good money to do so), you better believe I won't be doing Disney's job for free.

However if annoyed enough I would gladly take my family and walk right past the line cutters and make a snide comment as I walked past them.
