Where Do You Watch Illuminations?

On our first night(June 3rd) we will be staying at the BC Resort and I thought if I can drag the kids out of the pool we may walk over to see Illuminations. It wont be our only night to see it but I was hoping for some tips for just walking around WS and stopping by one of the lands for the show.(or where not to stand) I know to get a really good seat you have to stake out a spot early,thats not what I want to do our first night.

You could eat at Rose and Crown. (you don't need a patio table, they take you out anyway) Try to get a view from China. It's not to crowded, and while it does not offer the best possible view, you can see the fireworks.

A good place to grab a last minute spot is near Japan/Morocco. It's not the best view, closer to the front is better but you don't have to wait. Plus it's easy to leave via the International Gateway afterwards.

what time for a reservation (if its even an option this late in the game) at the rose and crown would you get? Do they take you to an area (like a patio)
that only people at the resteraunt can get to? im guessing it is (or else everyone would be there) could you make "late reservations" say 8pm for dessert or drinks only?

My favorite spot is Germany. I find the wind blows towards the England side more often than not.

Best part is that I can get a glass of german wine and a piece of black forest cake!

Since last watching the show from The Breathless, I will not see Illuminations from anywhere else ever again. The specialty cruises are so worth it.

Get a reservation @ the Rose & Crown between 7:30 & 7:45 and you should be OK. Be sure to order the full meal (salad, entree, & dessert).
