Where Do You Trade With Your Mules?

I used to trade in my own room, but once I get a couple of mules in there it looks like a party and I get lookie-loos. Not that I mind meeting people ... it's just that I want to do my business in peace.

So, where do you trade with your mules?

I trade in Town Square. I click advanced and go to a room that no one is in. My rooms take a long time to load since I have hundreds os SKull Rock rooms so that is faster for me.

Well I have a pin mule that I send nedding during the day on my DH's slow laptop. So when I need to trade stuff around, I just go to the dock she's standing on between Ned runs.

Advanced mode is a wonderful thing...

Also, some rooms have spots where you are either completely or mostly hidden by trees, balloons, etc.

I like to hide behind the coffin in the Emporium when I'm shopping. Nobody can see you there

I once tried to hide in the corner of the Music Game to add some codes and someone came up to me and asked me: "Anything interesting?". LOL. I guess I'll do my trading in public, then.

What about marking your room "Closed"? Does that work?

I just use my own room... BadgerBoy and his MANY brothers tend to like it in there for some reason.

So do you all have more than 1 computer to do this? Or is there a way to split screen it? Where do you set up your email accounts to have mules? Our whole family shares an email account, so it would only let me and my son create characters for vmk.

I use more than one computer. My computer crashes if I try to do two.

As far as the email goes, I just set up an account on Yahoo strictly for VMK. Then for the DOB I use a date in 1994 so that I don't have to use the email as my screen name.

therefore, I have

id4
etc

all with the email of id@yahoo.com

of course, I don't actually use id, but you can get the picture.

Oh and I write down the ids, what they have, and mark them off when traded in a spiral notebook.

Another thing both Kris and I do when we have extra time is make extra mules, do all the codes and then leave them alone except to visit the NPC's each day. That way if the codes are ever removed, we still have mules with lots of credits to use. Instead of using them this weekend, I simply make new mules. Kris has 6 mules extra and I have 5. I feel guilty for muleing though, so that is why I try to appease my guilty feelings by giving away things for cheap alot.

I am just that way. I even put my dvd movies in alphabetically order, have an inventory on my computer of them (we have a ton!!), my kids books stay in order, even their toys are in organized bins. lol. My dream job is to get my MLS and become a librarian. That should tell you what type of person I am. My son is a mini me, so he organized also. Plates in cupboard are even organized by pattern.

BTW, the doctor says I am OCD, lol.

Now if only the items in VMK weren't organized so randomly in your inventory! Can never find the pin I want because they are all so mixed up!

Yeah, the inventory on VMK drives me crazy!! I finally went and traded all my extra normal pins to my main mule Maliatoo cause I got tired of all the mixed pins.

I actually went as far as writing down all the pins in my inventory so I can make sure I get at least one of each and don't trade away my last of a pin.

I wish we could choose what order they go in. Even with the ones we "wear", I wish they would show up in the order we place them in. I would have my magic all together, then whatever else I wear.

I think VMK is theraputic for me, lol. I like to collect things in real life. At least on VMK, I can collect things and it doesn't cost real $$$. We won't go into what collections I have in real life. On VMK I can get my collecting need fullfilled for free.

Hi,

I'm so glad I'm not the only one to try to be organized. My friends make fun of me all the time for organizing everything I do: camping, gardening, club work, volunteering, the house (still working on that), oh lots of things, including VMK gaming.

I cut and paste all the clues from this board and others into a Disney VMK file and keep on the computer in the folder with all my silly photos of me in the game.
