Where do you stop for a few groceries?

We will have a rental car and want to make a quick stop on our way from the airport for a few grocery items as well as some adult beverages. Anyone know of a good spot, not overpriced?

We always stop at the Publix near the Outlet Mall (off 535/Apopka Vineland)
I believe the address is Vineland Ave. We use 417 from the airport and get off Exit 6. Take the first right turn as you come off the exit ramp... I believe it is South International Drive. Just follow for about two miles ...the first mile or so is very barren...cow fields and swampy area. You will then see apartment buildings on the left (these are the apartments Disney's College Program employees live in) and then a Hilton timeshare property on left...the road sort of splits at this point...you will bear to the left...once bearing left the Publix will be on your right. When you exit the Publix make a left and return to the intersection of the exit ramp off 417...if you turn right from Publix it will take you past the Outlet Mall onto 535 and massive traffic. By going back to the turn you made off the 417 ramp you can make a right turn at that intersection (the Caribe Royale will be on your right near this intersection) and go straight......this road then becomes World Drive and will take you right on to Disney property with much less traffic than going past the Mall and on 535. Publix has a good selection of beers, wines ...not sure about liquors, but, I think so. They also have a really nice deli area with prepared foods and nice fruits and produce.

Last time we were down there( last Dec.) we stopped @ the Target on Orange Blossom Trail,it's between the airport and OKW.

Another vote for the Publix mentioned by DonnaL. Nice store, good prices.

We went to a Super Target in Kissimee last month. About 10 minutes from the BWI where we were staying. It was a huge store so they had everything and at very reasonable prices.

We typically have gone to the Winn Dixie by Downtown Disney. Not super cheap though, but convenient. I do like the Super Target better.

Another vote for the Publix, only one we use.. there is a liquor store in the complex I think . Clean and friendly and not too crowded..
The Hess gas station by DTD and BWV have a few things too and beer and I think wine haven't gone there in a while since we have car now and found Publix.

Are you staying at BLT? If so, there's a publix out the "back gate" of MK -- turn right out of BLT parking lot, take a right at the first stop sign, then another right at the "T". Follow that road on around and you'll get to a traffic circle, which you should exit as if you were going straight through and there were no traffic circle. Publix will be up on the right. It takes about 5-7 minutes to get there from BLT.

I'll go here too if staying at one of the MK resorts. It's a quick trip and no traffic.

Sorry if I missed this but wondering if there is a costco close by? Or SAMs club? We have rented a car and hoping to stop somewhere and buy a few good prepared meals on our way...suggestions?

Closest Costco is on South Orange Blossom Trail, between WDW and the airport. Take 417, the south exit out of the airport and go towards WDW. Take Orange Blossom Trail exit and head north on OBT. Costco is about two miles up on your left.
