Where do you stay, on Disney Property or close by?

Our last 3 trips including our honeymoon we stayed at POFQ and out next trip next year we are already book for the same resort.

for the size of the resort you can’t complain it is one of the smallest resorts so it does not have that cramp feeling like some of the large resorts have when it comes to getting on the buses or eating. yes POFQ does have a small food court area but it seems to have a good turn over so there are always a place to eat. so it seems to be pretty quiet in the evenings

I like how they play movies out in the middle courtyard which is always a nice treat to came back to

I love the ability to walk from the bus stop at the end of a day in a park to our room without walking for ever. we have a favorite building we like to stay at long the river which is not far from the main building.

also the ability to get to DTD with just a boat ride is a great plus too.

Always stay on site, free parking and free dining is great, you also get the benifit of the Disney transportation system for the days you just don't feel like driving or when we head to down town Disney I don't have to deal with the limited parking since they eliminated several key parking areas for the expansion and food trucks

We've been going to DW with free dining yearly since 2010. As long as that promotion exists, we'll be staying at a Disney resort. Pop and POFQ are our favourites.

Last time we stayed off-site was 1986 but since then it's always been on-site. In 1991 we stayed at the Carribbean Beach Club which was nice but we now rotate through Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club and Grand Floridian. Sometimes we do a split stay (we usually do a Disney cruise in between).

No rental car; we use the on-site transportation. We thought about DVC but we see no reason to have a larger room (there's just the two of us) and we wouldn't use a kitchen at all. We've had reasonably good luck in frequently getting one of the few king sized beds in the resort probably because there is just the two of us so the room is perfectly sized for us. We spend a lot of time in the parks so a large room just isn't necessary.
