I have seen Aladdin twice and both times we sat in the middle near the back of the lower section.

But I noticed last time some of those in line with us for preferred seating ran up stairs to the balcony section. Is that a better place to see the show?

Where do you think the best seats are to see the show?

We prefer the lower. There are two sections there. One up front towards the stage then a 2nd section further back seperated by an aisle way from the closer first section. We prefer the 1st row of that 2nd section. Its an excellent view but what makes it great is the characters who come across the aisle way during the show. The elephant, camels etc. come right in front of you and often stop for a few seconds in front of the kids.

Many preferred the balcony because it gave you a great view of the magic carpet that flew up above. But since the accident last year the magic carpet has not been present.

How soon before showtime would you need to arrive to secure these spots?
Thanks!

Pretty early but it depends on the season, they try to fill this area in first before sending people upstairs.

So the carpet still isnt flying? I saw about the acident a while back.
I was hoping maybe they would bring it back though.

We try to sit in the front row of whatever section is available. It's nice to be able to rest our feet on the wall if we want.

Does the reserved seating coupon get you a certain area, or do you just enter the theater before the main line?

If there is a reserved line, can you show up closer to start time with your coupon and still get a good seat? Is the system the same for the other theater coupons?

:offtopic:Happy International Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you! Someone ride ST for me tonight.

It just allows you to be in the first group allowed in the theater so you get first choice of seats. We got there about 30 minutes before show time the one time we had PS. We were one of the first into the theater. Like I posted earlier I saw some other people show up as they were opening the doors to let the PS group in so it is possible to show up like that. Though I think the coupon advises to show up an hour before show time. I guess it depends on how busy it is that day and for that show. We like to go right after lunch and kind of plan our lunch around which show we decide to see.

Me too. :hippie:

Front row center in the Balcony....each of the past 3 times.

This is my favorite spot. I like the panoramic view and seeing the elephants from the top, being closer to the magic carpet (back when they had it). However DS5 likes being on the floor closer to the action. So sometimes we aim for the center of the lower deck. Being a former techie, generally that's where the sounds is engineered to hit the best.

I also like to sit in the front row of the 2nd section on the floor. We've had good success grabbing some food and then plopping down in line to eat, two birds with one stone!

That's us. We grab some treats and get in line for the orchestra section. We like to sit in the first or second rows. The kids love to see Genie up close.
