So who gets the majority of your money on a monthly basis? For me it's Walmart with K-Mart in a very, very, very, distant second. Walmart is 2 minutes down the street from me to where K-Mart is 25 minutes away....you do the math!
I use to shop exclusively at Target but as of lately I've been at Walmart much, much more. Our Target seemed to take a dip down in the quality and cleanliness of the store (however, it does seem to be getting better). I buy alot of Rubbermaid boxes to store toys in. Walmart carries to snap-top variety, Target does not. If I'm going out for boxes, then it's to Walmart I go for everything I need.
For basic everyday things, Walmart is definately #1, with Target 2, ( walmart is about 3 miles, while Target is about 45 miles)
Thats where most of our $ seems to stay
Walmart, but my local grocery store (Bi-Lo) is a close 2nd.
The closest Kmart is about 35 minutes away. The closest Target is as close as the closest mall-about 50 minutes. Walmart and Bi-Lo are about 10-15 minutes away. I don't have a Sam's card. Never been to Steinmart, but I think there's one in front of the mall.
WalMart definately for groceries. I'm saving as much as $50 a week by shopping there. Though I don't care to much for the crowds. I try to shop early Saturday mornings if I can.
As far as clothes shopping, I like Kohl's but if a Sears would come in somewhere close, I would go there also. Their Classic Elements line fits my shape the best.
We have a small local Walmart and a Super Center about 20 minutes from here.....We do most of our shopping at both these stores and I buy most of my groceries there now too...I save a bundle that way...
