Where do you park when flying out of Hartford?

We usually park at the park and fly by Bradley airport. Last time we had a bad experience there so we are looking for another place. I know they built a new parking lot at the airport. Can anyone give me info on parking there? Thanks!

I usually use Piccolo Bradley Air Parking, and have always been pleased with the service. I have also had good experiences with Ron Cari.

Thanks Shannon G. Has anyone left their car right at the airport (Hartford) parking lot?

We always park at Roncari Express which is right next to the Teletrack. Have always found it to be convenient, and they drop you/pick up right off the terminal door. Use your AAA card to get a discount.

We used to leave it at the airport all the time, but, since we have a free parking connection, we don't have to. BUT......back OT, we never had a problem using the long term budget lots there. The shuttles are very very reliable.

Muffy, We live north of the airport in Wilbraham Ma., so we drive in from the Enfield area down rt.75. I don't know which direction you come from but if it is similar you could consider Executive Valet Parking. The rates are reasonable and they will have your car cleaned off and warmed up for you if you arrive back in cold and snowy weather. We have used them for three years in a row for our trips and have always been satisfied. The shuttle drivers are very friendly and will drop you off curbside at ewhichever airline you are using. Also on their website,www.ExecutiveValet.com you can print out a discount coupon.

I second Executive Valet! We fly out of BDL and they are our first choice for parking. Wonderful service and easy to get to.

Just returned to BDL last night. Used Piccolo because we get a corporate discount. Their service has noticably deteriorated. It took half an hour to get the shuttle from baggage claim back to the lot. Of course at "world class" (only in the 3rd World, maybe!)
you get to wait with all the idiots who exit baggage claim and then don't move down the sidewalk, thereby blocking the exit to those still in the terminal. Seems most of these folks are smokers who can't wait to fill their lungs with tar and toxins, too.

O.k. enough of my rant, back to Piccolo - besides the looong wait for a shuttle, they did a lousy job of clearing the snow off of my car and they changed the radio station...just how long were they in my car??? Our corporate travel department will be getting an e-mail from me on Monday!

We used to use Roncari. They were good, but they got expensive and we no longer have a discount with them (Roncari vans went by twice before the first Piccolo van did (full of Terminal A passengers so didn't stop at Terminal B Delta / American / Northwest)!

I used the State of CT long term lot at Bradley once. It was o.k. the van was a long time coming and they don't clean off your car.

Have fun wherever you park!

How far is Exective Valet from BDL? I printed out the coupon and thanks for the link. It sounds like they are a few miles from BDL though?

My husband does the driving....I am a passive observer, but as I recall you go along the road as if you were going to park on site at BDL, passing the long term lots and continue along the main road until you spot Executive Valet on the left. When we pull in a driver comes right over to help with luggage, hubby leaves the keys in the car and goes inside the office while me and the kids go to into the shuttle and wait a couple of minutes for him.
We have always been the only party in the shuttle to the terminal which is just a few minutes away. We get dropped off at SWA curbside checkin, but of course they will drop you off at whichever airline you use.

Hi Muffy, It may seem a way from the terminal but they still border the airport property. It's just at the end of the taxiway that runs alongside the runway that runs north and south. For us , driving in from the north , it's the first private parking facility on the right side of rt. 75. If you come from the south you'll feel like you're driving past the airport and you almost will but not quite. Like I said they do a nice job but really I have nothing to compare to because they're the only ones I've ever used.

I have a friend who lives in the same town as we do, but whos office is in Charleston SC. He flys out of BDL every Monday morning and back on Fridays. He could use any of the lots but he uses Executive and he's always been very satisfied. BTW he's also the type thats very meticulous about his car, so if they were to do something he didn't like he'd switch very quickly.

Hope this helps!

You expalined everything perfectly. We are going to try Executive valet parking! It sounds quite easy to find and if Chucks meticulous friend finds no fault they must be AOK! Wink!

I just got a coupon in the mail for 25% off parking at Roncari the other day. It came in one of those ValueMail packs of various local business coupons.
I think you may also get a discount through AAA at Roncari and they have a frequent user club where you can get free parking after so may days.
I love Roncari and although they are more expensive I feel it is worth it as long as I try to find discounts. I also get 25% off through my employer so you may want to look into that also.
I had a terrible experience with VIP Parking where the shuttle buses smelled like leaking oil! YUCK!!

Thanks! I'll look into it!

I too love Executive. We drive in from MA on 75. We have used them at least 8 times over the past few years. Have NEVER had a problem. Only 5 minutes farther from the airport than some of the others. Used Roncari once and had terrible luck with them.

We are going to try Executive. thanks!
