Where do you park at Newark Airport, NJ?

Hello Everybody,

Where is the best place to park at Newark Airport for 7 days. The parking websites are really confusing. We are having luggage sent ahead of time so it would be one minivan with 2 adults and 3 under 10 children. Because of the kiddies, I'm looking for the easist in and out as possible without spending too much.

We've used long term parking with the shuttles bus. In your case that would probably work best if one parent dropped off the family and took the car over to long term on the way out and then met up before trying to check in. On the return I'd go get the car while my wife and son (and sometimes another traveller) wait for the bags.

The shuttle wasn't too bad but would be tricky with three shortish ones and maybe a gate-checkable stroller.

If they are all walking then the shuttle may work better than attempting to wrangle three kids and bags on the return.

We always park right at the airports long term lot. We have never had a problem leaving our car there. We have 2 kids and 4 carryon size luggage to deal with and we have never had any issues. They have a free shuttle with multiple stops in the lot so we just find a spot close to one of the stops and hop on the shuttle. They are always there, we never even had to wait for one. It drops you off right at the entrance. Really easy and efficiant. I don't remember what the cost is to park there, sorry. The lot is gated and has cameras & security if that is important to you.

We use a company right out side the airport called long term parking (not affiliated with AP) very convenient from turnpike. They will shuttle you over to AP. There the cheapest around and I never had any issue with them. Using again on 8/24 to MCO.

We use Fast Track Parking on Route 1/9 near the airport. We have parked there each trip and the shuttle to and from the airport is very reliable. The address is 472 Route 1&9 South Newark,NJ 07114. The phone number is (973)648-6868 and website is www.avistarparking.com. It is about $10 per day.

I use airportparkingreservations.com. It gives you a large selection of lots to choose from. I am looking at AirPark for our trip (haven't used them before). On their own website parking is $15.xx. On the website I suggested the rate is $7 per day. Half the price. You pay a deposit of one day plus a $5 fee; the remainder is paid when you return. Hope this helps.
