Where do you like to eat when at Magic Kingdom?

As the title really!

I'm finalising my ADRs and this park seems to have less options than Epcot?

Other than hoping to pop out for afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian one of our MK days, we're a bit stumped as to where else to try!

Where would you recommend?

:goodvibes

Only TS we have eaten at in MK are Liberty Tree Tavern & Crystal Palace.
We are not a fan of buffets, if you want a character meal then its OK(prefer Chef Mickey's) but we far prefer LTT, eaten there twice, great meals both times.

If it's a table service meal you want then the Crystal Palace is very good for breakfast and character meets or else you could try the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner - my son's favourite restaurant anywhere :goodvibes (apparently it is very good at lunchtime too but we have only eaten dinner there ourselves)

We usually have a quick service lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe as they have a good selection of meals there, or Columbia Harbour House.

Oh great! I wanted a breakfast reservation for our second week so I've popped Crystal Palace in for that.

Will check out the LTT menu too.

Thanks for the quick service recommendations Irene - I'm definitely trying to make a list of places we can pop into on days we don't feel like sticking too rigidly to plans!

We like to have an 8.05 breakfast at CP and go into MK before the crowds.

For counter service I don't think you can beat Columbia Harbour House
We really enjoyed our breakfast at Crystal Palace but more for walking down an empty Main Street than anything else :)

Magic Kingdom certainly doesn't have the choice that Epcot does. When we visit MK we make a routine of having a Crystal Palace buffet breakfast very first morning to get us into the spirit (pointless really as we have been in Disney mode at least a month prior to the breakfast  but always enjoy that first morning with old friends).

We have dined at LTT a few times but don't regard it as a highlight.

For counter service, Columbia Harbour House is maybe the pick for us. It does however bring back painful memories as I am constantly reminded by my lovely family of the occasion when I upended a whole tray of large drinks on my way to the table. :guilty::blush:
Another counter service we like to pay a visit is Tortuga Tavern, formerly El Pirata Y el Perico, where you can get some really good tacos and nachos and there is a terrific toppings bar.

With some excellent table service restaurants just a short monorail ride away we prefer to leave MK if we want to eat in a more relaxed fashion.

We'll be eating in the Crystal Palace (lunch) and Tony's (dinner) for our table service meals on our MK days :goodvibes

CP is a first for us, not done that before, but I love Tigger!!
Tony's is a favourite of mine.

We always eat at Crystal Palace - it's become a kind of tradition now after five visits!! We have also enjoyed the Plaza Restaurant, but it's more sandwiches rather than a "proper" meal for a TS credit, but nice nonetheless.

As some other posts have noted, it is possible to eat at one of the MK Resorts which are either a short walk (Contemporary) or monorail/boat ride (GF and Polynesian) away. All of these resorts have TS restaurants, and it is nice to take a break from the parks especially in the summer.

Thanks everyone! Lots to think about :goodvibes

It's good to have special memories!! :rolleyes1

I didn't realise CP brekkie had Tigger - that's ace!!

I'm doing my ADRs on a day by day basis and it's making me really excited for September - my boss now knows not to come to my desk at 10:01 am ;)

we always enjoy the plaza restaurant, though it's sandwiches and burgers there...and yummy ice cream sundaes...

for counter service we like pecos bill, columbia harbour house and cosmic ray..

we enjoy the fixins bar at pecos bill :)

The best TS I've ever done on an MK day was to get the boat/monorail over to Kona cafe for lunch.

It's so quiet and peaceful and the food is gorgeous.

A really nice break from the parks, yet didn't take much time out really. We'll probaby make that a tradition now. :)

CS we like Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbor House. :)

We're planning on going to Liberty Tree Tavern and taking the monorail to the Poly to eat there too.
