Where do you like to eat on the day you are leaving?

We usually leave early afternoon so we just grab qs at MK. We are thinking about driving this time and not leaving until early evening so I might have to consider booking a character meal for breakfast and surprise dd. Now to pick which one!!!

We have done a character breakfast the day we check out on every trip. Ohana's the last 3 trips. So I would say it is a tradition.

Then we head to Downtown Disney for my wife's last shopping hurrah. Then we hit the road. We always drive to Disney so we can linger that last day as long as we like.

Yes for both, make sure when you're leaving to ask if you need your hand stamped. You can take food into Universal, they allow "small snacks that don't require heating." I've heard Disney allows food too, as long as it's similar. Their lawyers are probably terrified of killing someone with food allergies if they can't bring in non-peanut contaminated chow or whatever.

Leaving in the middle of the day is usually a good idea just for the break, but eating in the parks isn't too bad. Universal has Citywalk right outside the gate, they have a Burger King, Moe's and other okay choices to save money. Your best bet is to eat a big breakfast, they have cheap buffets along the main roads like I-drive. If you do eat in the parks, you can save by looking at menus ahead of time, instead of bumbling around.

usually I would eat at 1900 PF for breakfast this year my flight goes home Christmas :santa: day so I decided to eat beakfast at Ohanas, what a way to end my Christmas :santa: day eating with the Characters, I can't wait :santa:

Our last meal is always breakfast at Kona Cafe. It is by far our most favorite tradition when leaving WDW. It makes leaving just a little easier!! :thumbsup2

We have made Boma our traditional departing breakfast. Absolutly LOVE that place!

Us too! We get the latest possible time so that we can pack at a leisurely pace. Then we stuff ourselves at the Boma breakfast buffet-we fly and we never know when we'll eat again!

It depends on the time of our flight home. Sometimes we relax at our resort pool and eat something poolside, if we have a later flight we hang at the pool use the shower by the pool and head to beaches and cream. I pack most of our stuff up the night before. We like to have a relaxing day before we go home. We rent a car so we don't need to head back to the resort we are staying in for ME, if I was you I think I would enjoy your resort eat at the hotel and leave feeling relaxed or as someone else said eat at one of the local resorts (MK area) and leave yourself enough time to get back to the WL. Linda :)

Once again, we have reserved a late breakfast/early lunch at the Crystal Palace on departure day. This worked for us last time as we were able to pack up, deal with luggage & check out, then head to the park for one of the best breakfast buffets (IMO), and one last time through a few favorite rides. Definitely not hassle free, but the pace was do-able, and we just loved having a few more special moments at MK. Good luck with your decision! :)
