Where do you like to eat on the day you are leaving?

I am trying to pick an ADR for the day we go home. We would be looking for breakfast or an early lunch. I am guessing Magical Express will be picking us up around 2:30 or so. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. As of now I have Crystal palace booked but today DD tells me she doesn't want to see Pooh. So I may still keep it but I am looking for some other ideas. Thanks

Our last day "ritual" is Tusker House w/Donald for breakfast, CS or Yak & Yeti at AKL and then Gasparilla's Grill for dinner. I love that my last memory is sitting outside our hotel, by the marina watching the monorails go by and the castle turn colors. It's the perfect way to end a vacation IMO.

How about 1900 Park Fare ? You could take the boat to MK from WL and then hop on the monorail to the GF. You could go to a late breakfast w/ Alice, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins.... we're doing that our last day for breakfast. It seemed like a fun way to end the trip. ( we're also doing Crystal Palace for lunch that day)

I prefer not to do a breakfast on the last day to avoid any last minute run around with packing up, getting bags stored and checking out. . .and trying to make an ADR. We have never planned any ADRs on our last day to give us more flexibility to finish up the trip with anything we missed.

If we weren't planning on going to a park on the last day due to an early flight I might consider Chef Mickey's as a great way for the kids to have one last dose of Mickey until next time.

I've made an ADR for lunch at Chef Mickeys on our last day (our schedule is similar to the OPs), but it's probable that we won't keep it (will call and cancel) and keep park touring instead.

We tend not to do anything that requires an ADR for our last day. It's usually an early lunch at the Big River Grille, Beaches and Cream or some kind of counter service stop.

We try to stay close to the resort (Poly) on our last day, at least later in the day (we always leave as late as possible). This year it'll be Ohana for breakfast and Kona for lunch. Or we'll eat at the sushi bar prior to leaving - not sure which.

Generally, our last TS meal is the breakfast at 'Ohana. The meal is just so tasty and we love being able to enjoy the castle view one last time and that last little visit with Mickey. If we have extra time after breakfast we will head over to the MK for a little bit of ride time and if possible we will head over to Cosmic Ray's or the Village Haus for a quick bite before the plane.

That was my thinking as well. I believe we need to be ready about 12:30pm for the 1pm ME (though not certain of the time yet).

But then I started thinking maybe I could still have the 'Ohana breakfast I wanted after all, and managed to find a time slot on our depature day.

I'm hoping to be granted a late check-out. This way we can get the majority of our packing done early to get to 'Ohana's for 10:15am, and have a late check-out so we can finish up when we get back and be out by 12:30pm.

We started doing O'hana for breakfast on our departure day and we're doing that again this next trip. We like that its a character meal and is well-themed. When we are finished, we hit the shops in the Polynesian and then sit by the pool for a bit, and then sadly, depart.

ME picks up 3 hours prior to your departing flight, so make sure you plan for that. If you miss your ME bus you may not get on another bus. Almost happened to us last year with our daughter flying back. We made it to the bus stop but she got violently ill and when we ask if she could take the next bus they said no. Her voucher was for that bus and that bus only. All buses were filled. Just something you may want to keep in mind depending on when your flight leaves. I agree 1900 Park Fare is a fun and relaxing breakfast.

In October we are staying at AKL so we are having Breakfast at BOMA on the last morning... We don't fly home till that evening.....


In December we are staying at the Poly so we have an ADR for Kona Cafe for Breakfast and then just plan too hang at the pool....

Still waiting too book my flights home for December...Come on Southwest and have sale...

We do LeCellier for dinner the night before we leave. Since we are in SC we drive and leave about 4am from the world. I have to be out of the world and on the road before I see people having fun or I dont wanna go.

We have made Boma our traditional departing breakfast. Absolutly LOVE that place!
