I had DS's gifts at my moms and had to sneak out the house yesterday to get them. I went over there earlier in the week and wrapped them. Luckily she's right down the street from me. I put them in a rolling duffle bag I have and it's tucked away in the coat closet. Fortunately for us it's been very warm the last couple of days so they haven't had to open the closet for their coats. They're trying to stay up all night cause DS13 is trying to figure out how I get the gifts under the tree. He said he stayed awake most of the night last year and he knew I was sleeping. He dozed off for 1 hour and when he woke up, the tree was full of gifts and I was still sleep. I can only give away my trick when he becomes a dad. I plan on playing a trick on them by not placing any gifts under the tree. I know that's mean, but hey, it would be :rotfl2:

We have them in a closet. Honestly, I don't think it would occur to my DD7 to look for presents.

We've told our son for years that his birthday,Christmas and other gifts were at the neighbors. He doesn't even try to look for them. They are in my closet and I even leave the door to the closet open. It's a walk in and they are in garbage bags with the extra blankets and seasonal clothes storage. He's clueless.

Mine ARE at my neighbors. She works in my office building, so I bought just about everything on line and had it shipped to work! Snuck home early on friday and wrapped them up. Just waiting for dd to fall asleep to get them.

We hide ours in the plastic tubs where the Christmas tree/decorations are stored. Once we decorate for Christmas, the tubs are empty, perfect for hiding gifts! We keep them stacked up out in the garage.

I just did this for the 1st time this year. I laughted at myself knwoing all these years those tubs sat empty and I was trying to hide presents. I also used a few coolers

:tiptoe: I accidentally found them in my family room closet that I use fairly frequently! My mom actually told me to open that closet! :ssst:

This year I ordered a lot of stuff online, so I opened all the boxes, consolidated and put them back in, sealed them back up with packing tape and put them in my closet-the kids know they're there.
They can't open them or else I'd know, so they're hidden in plain sight-I love it!
Before this, I always hid them in the storage room in the basement--the kids never go in there because it's seperate from the living space of the basement--it used to be the garage before we built one on street level.

We don't.

As packages are bought, I wrap them and put them under the tree. Each kid has his own wrapping paper color so they know how many are for each and they count them daily, lol.

Of course, my boys are beyond the Santa age so hiding isn't necessary. When Santa delivered, those were hidden in the basement or in my closet.

My mom used to send things to my grandmother's, but then she'd occaisonally leave things at her house.
Then she moved on to the trunk of her car.

I used to hide mine in the dirty clothes hamper.

No one ever found them in there  :rotfl2:

I have this big plastic container in the bottom of my closet where I put my winter clothes. I hide them under the clothes I didn't pull out yet for winter. She's passed Santa though, but we are still putting a few things out from Santa that's not wrapped.

Ours are in the attic but I think this will be the last year for that ;) The kids are starting to suspect something ;) My inlaws, 1 uncle, and grandmother all live within 2 minutes of us so I will be using their houses next year to hide :santa:

This year I hid my dh's gift in my tampon box. It was small enough, and I knew he'd NEVER think to snoop there!

I hide them in my closet. We have a huge walk-in closet, and I am still having a hard time hiding them all! I stack them behind coats, bagged suits, my wedding dress, etc. My DH keeps his gun collection in the closet and the kids know they are not allowed to go in there, so it's a pretty safe place! ;)
