Just wondering everyone raves about table service, but where do you guys get the most out of your Quick Service Credits??

We have some must eat places (whether on the dining plan or not):
Flame Tree BBQ - AK

BOG Lunch - MK

Cosmic Rays - MK (We really like the rotisserie chicken for a "real food" type meal while in the parks)

Art of Animation - I love the Surf & Surf Burger (a crab cake topped with fried shrimp, remoulade sauce, lettuce & tomato)

New to this list is Pop Century. Last time we were there I had the Johnny Appleseed sandwich (Pork with tangy Slaw Salad, Grilled Granny Smith Apples, Apple Butter and Vermont Cheddar Cheese on toasted Ciabatta Bread with choice of two sides which were a choice of coleslaw, fries or pasta salad) and DH had the Southwesterner Buger (Angus Chuck Patty topped with Pepper Jack Cheese, Lettuce, Avocado, Vine Ripe Tomato, Jalapeno, Lime Sour Cream and Corn Tortilla Strips on a Brioche Roll with choice of two sides - same choices as for the other sandwich). Both of these were really good. Surprisingly so. We actually didn't want to eat there, but our son was begging to go there.

Tangerine Café in Epcot is very good and as is Sunshine Seasons. Both offer foods that I would rate along with what your would find in many casual dining restaurants as opposed to the typical fast food options.

Many places offer such large portions that DD and I share. Now that we can swap out dessert for another snack credit, this makes for a really big meal (especially when it's hot out & we can't stuff ourselves).

Tangierine Cafe in Morocco - the combo shwarma platter is huge.

We share honey chicken at Yak & Yeti with a side of fried rice at DAK.

BOG lunch - next time we'll share the roast beef sandwich and each get a soup. I loved the French Onion soup! Not too interested in their cupcakes.

I agree with Flame Tree at DAK also!

The only breakfast that makes sense is BOG, since it's in my opinion overpriced for a QS breakfast. Using a credit is good though!

Other breakfasts aren't worth it to me. I don't eat a huge meal in the morning, so would use a snack credit for a biscuit & gravy maybe!

We used 2 credits for a large pizza with 4 snacks/drinks. It's a ton of food - enough for 4 people really. I had ziploc bags, so we saved the leftovers in the fridge (at Pop) for a late night dinner.

The sandwiches at the Boardwalk Bakery are very big. Plus they have really nice pastries!

MK: Pecos Bills, Casey's or Columbia Harbor House
AK: Flametree BBQ!
Epcot: anywhere in the World Showcase or Sunshine Seasons
HS: I have never eaten Quick Service here

I forgot about Pecos Bills! DD and I shared a chicken fajita platter there one night last trip (not on DDP). The toppings were really good.

I forgot about Columbia Harbor House. When we were there is Oct, I had the chicken pot pie which was really good and again a departure from the normal fast food type offerings.

Contempo Café at the Contemporary Resort also has very good food. We ate there one evening after leaving MK and had the Turkey BLT (Smoked Turkey, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Cranberry Mayonnaise with French Fries, Vegetable-style Coleslaw, or House-made Chips) and Chicken Alfredo pasta. DH & I split both of these and they were very good. Also at Contempo Café for fans of peanut butter is the Peanut Butter Pie along with several choices of really good cupcakes.

Wolfgang Puck Express in Disney Springs! They have a great menu with food that is "fancier" than regular QS in the parks. You place your order and sit down and then have a server type person deliver your food for you. Also unlimited drink refills. It just feels like you're really getting the most out of your credits when you are there because most of the entrees are a little pricey, food is great, you are semi getting waited on.

It is one of our favorite places to eat at WDW. We eat there several times a trip paying OOP.

MK: Columbia Harbor House (Lots of seats upstairs), Cosmic Rays, Be Our Guest lunch
Epcot: World Showcase
AK: Flame Tree

Were you able to do this with quick service credits? If so I will definitely do so this summer!

When we used our quick service credits we used them at Flame tree BBQ a few times. great food and they give you plenty.

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express - such a variety ... rotisserie chicken/mashed potatoes, BBQ chicken pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, other pastas, salads, salmon (DD 17 loves the salmon), mac n cheese (so yummy), meatloaf, chicken strips/fries. Desserts include frozen yogurt with fruit/candy topping, cream brule, cheesecake. Refillable drinks. We try to get here a few times - so good!

Wolfgang Puck Express. Great food!
CHH. A/C and lots of choices.
BOG for lunch!!!
Tangieriene Cafe. I like the food here!
Liberty Inn. Steak on AS and it's good!
Lets Halles, oh my goodness yumminess.
Starring Rolls. Yummy pastries, sandwiches and sushi.
Flame Tree BBQ
AlA food court has some good choices
POR food court has make your own pasta and make your own salads. Very large and great tasting!
Mara at AKR. Lots of great selections including butternut squash soup!!

I forgot about Wolfgang Puck's Express - it's a nice change of pace. They serve you the food after you order at the counter, so allow a few dollars for a tip! We always get such nice service there! My DD loved the creme brulee!

Yes! For two QS credits you can get a whole pizza plus 2 drinks and 2 desserts anywhere that has whole pizza.

Thanks for confirming happymommy! As we would have refillable mugs, would they also let you exchange the 2 drinks for additional snacks or desserts? Thinking of putting back something for breakfast the next day!

I'm pretty sure they would!

I forget what we got, but you should be able to substitute any 4 snack items out for drinks/desserts. We may end up doing this one day next trip!

The pizza isn't bad at all - we had it at Pop. You have to go order what kind you want and wait a few minutes for it to come out.

We tend to get the most bang for our buck when we use it at our resort. -We'll use our mugs for our drinks and then get a snack/side in place of our drink on the plan. We've been able to share a lot of meals that way.

Wolf Gang Puck Is one of our favorites, but probably the best place would be at your resort, or any other resort, Pop or AofA (very large selection) is the best place for quick service. you should have a mug and if you eat at your hotel you can get and extra side or snack, instead of your drink. That definitely makes good use of your credits.
