We are going to WDW in June and I know it is likely to rain at some point each day. If we wake up one morning and it is already raining,or it is supposed to rain ALL day, any suggestions at to which park would be the best to visit in the rain?

We've been really lucky - last year it was rainy one day when we woke up so we headed to Epcot -World Showcase since there's TONS to do indoors at each pavilion. Worked out well - we did a few things in Future World on our way to the back of the park and then it cleared up by the time we hit China.

Another trip we were stuck in a downpour at MK. We ended up in the arcade near Space Mountain (it was packed). Thankfully it was just a quick 1/2 hour shower and we were able to get out of there.

Grab some cheap ponchos (at Wal-mart) so you aren't stuck paying a fortune for them in the park :)

The AK. We have gotten the best pictures when it is raining out. The animals love the rain and seem to come out and "play". Grab a poncho and go for it.

WDW if the one vacation destination where you have fun in the rain. We grab our umbrellas and hit the parks. Usually they are less crowded.

Don't forget - it could be raining in one park and not another, unless it is a total washout. Last June, it would rain for about an hour in the afternoon. Keep going! Grab an umbrella!

Don't let rain spoil your fun. Just bring ponchos. When we went in November it poured on the day we were at AK and we never had so much fun there. The animals in the safari were running around very playful. It was a wonderful experience. It was our fifth time there and the best becasue the animals were refreshed from the heat.(So were we).

put on the poncho's and attack usally the parks thin out and like everyone been saying they usally last a half an hour

It rains in FL almost every day. It's great, because it drives the crowds away. MK is usually the best place to be if it rains, because everything is so close together, but Epcot is pretty good too, esp the WS, there are a lot of shops & movies to duck into to stay dry.

For some reason is always rains on us at MGM. WE don;t change the park for the day because we often have PS's there. WE just pull on the rain gear and go. If the rain stops, we just get a locker and stuff everything in there for the rest of the day.

The most enjoyable part of our trip last week was the night and day that it rained (except for the big pop of lightning on Monday night). We spent the rainy night in MK and walked onto all the rides except Peter Pan (always a line!) The next day we had a PS at AK and arrived at opening...stood in the line....ate at Donald's..rode the rides in Dinoland multiple times and walked onto the Safari and Kali River Rapids with very little wait.

Buy ponchos, take a ziplock to store them in when the rain stops and wear sandals (so that your socks and tennis shoes are sopping wet)

On Wednesday, the sun came out and the parks were swamped. We were disappointed that we weren't able to spend our last night walking onto everything. We skipped the parks in the evening and went to Downtown Disney.

Hey there! Just wanted to suggest that you might want to tie jackets around your waists on rainy days, even if you're wearing ponchos. Going in and out from rain to air-conditioned attraction can be uncomfortable, and you might want to put it over your legs while sitting in a show even if you don't wear it.

And my vote for rainy day park is definitely the magic kingdom. Lots to do with the least amount of walking. And it's great to see the crowds clear out of there when the afternoon thunderstorm comes along! ;)

Any park. I would do EPCOT or MGM
