Hello! Just wondering where other DVC'er and Dis'ers go for the weather reports for up coming trips. Anyone have a reliable (as far as weatherman can be) resource?

TIA

Accuweather, Weather.com and then I also check the local Orlando tv stations.

I go to noaa.gov

It's the national oceanic and atmospheric admin. website, they seem to be very thorough and more accurate than most of the others I use.

I don't trust any of them, unless it is a day or 2 out and then they are more accurate but long range forget it.

Whenever I go anywhere on vacation (Disney or otherwise) I may use the ususal suspects (Weather.com, intellicast, etc) for a general idea, but I will usually go to the local stations for more detailed forecasts. The local stations know how the local weather "behaves" better than the national services.

I go to http://www.newslink.org to find local stations.

I usually check three to four sites to see what the consensus is including weather.com, wunderground.com, accuweather.com, and a local source such as chicagoweathercenter.com. If they all agree it is going to be sunny and pleasant, I take my umbrella because it is sure to rain.

They are all functionally useless for planning purposes more than a day or so out----
