In Nassau? Has anyone had lunch at Marketplace inside the Atlantis Resort? I see on their site it is buffet style, which would be nice and convenient for my 3yr old.

There is no way he would make it back to the ship for lunch...and that's with a big breakfast.

What do you think?

I am not familiar with the marketplace, but we went to Atlantis when we were in Nassau a few years ago. Given the fact that we as a family (4) can easily spend $150 (not including tip) or more at a good nice restaurant, I found the prices at Atlantis a little steep. I wanted to get ice cream and went to the Marina to and it was $7 for a single scoop. The restaurant by the pool if I recall was $15-$20 for a sandwich and fries are extra.

We went to Conch Fritters for lunch. It is a block or down, opposite side of street as straw market. The food was wonderful. Big, open air windows allow you to people watch.

We also had a snack at the filipino restaurant right to left of strawmarket.
Wish we would have had time for more there, but we had to get back to ship for palo dinner.

We ate at Senor Frogs. The best mexican food I have had in a very long time. Fun and lively atmosphere too. We took our 9 yo and 2 yo DD with us. They liked the music and there were other tourists with kids there too.

The crew members highly recommend an Italian restaurant in Nassau called Cafe Matisse.
