Where do you get your Favorite Disney dessert?

I had this at the girls getaway trip from Burr-Bank Ice Cream for lunch. It was a great treat:

I can't remember the name....But yes they are brownies. Mamakate ate one w/ me (you can see hers in back round)...maybe she remembers. I know it's on the menu. I looked up their menu online (just now) but they seem to not have it. I'm sorry. But trust me you'll love it.

is it okay to go to dl and dca and not anything but sweets:lmao: mind you next trip is 5 1/2 days:rotfl2: lots of stuff i've never tried and would like to

My favorite desserts are the Creme Brulee from Blue Bayou and Strawberry Shortcake from Plaza Inn.

It's a frozen banana in New Orleans Square for me!!!
Hi there! I'm a big fan of frozen bananas and know where to get them at WDW but where exactly can I get one in New Orleans Square? Is it from an ice cream cart? Thanks!:woohoo:

I love the frozen bananas too! It took me awhile to find them last visit but they had them at a cart in the Hub.

My kiddos of course love the Mickey Head ice cream bars.

We usually eat so much that we dont have room for dessert. I am determinded to try a Dole Whip this trip, I know I love the Dole pineapple juice so now I need the whip to go with it!!
I guess you could say I am boring when it comes to desserts. Im not a big cookie person, or cakes (except cheese cake), or pie, I cant stand chocolate, so it really limits me on my desserts with my pickiness. My desserts usually consist of ice cream or shakes/floats. Although I am looking forward to trying the caramel apple that I keep hearing about.

If you do decide to eat at Wine County Trattoria, try the orange sorbet. Oh man, that thing is GOOD. :thumbsup2

OK, there is a little tiny walk up window where they sell ice cream about 1/2 way down Main St. on the Tomorrowland side of the street (right if you are facing the castle) behind a large cart with fruit and snacks at the front of the little alley it is in. IF it is open get the apple with carmel! It is a bowl with a cored and cut green apple with a huge amount of carmel poured into the bowl to dip the apple into. It is usually a 50/50 chance they are open when I go but hubby knows if the wondow is open, I'm gone!
OH & the last time I was there we tried the Mickey Beignets at the restaurant outside of Pirates exit? Not the BB the other one. Yummmmmmm!!!!
And the candy shop in DTD is a standard with all the mickey goodies including carmel/chocolate dipped marshmallows & chocolate dipped carmels &....
I love all the others though. We are headed there on the 12th for a couple of days & now I can't wait. :Pinkbounc: I can feel the sugar rush already.
Later,
Sue

I wish they made churro plants so I could have one whenever I wanted! ::yes::

Mmmmmmm...yummy. I would have so many churro plants.
I would eat churros in the morning, churros in the evening and churros at supper time, with churros on a plant, I could eat churros anytime! :cloud9:

SueTGGR just reminded me of two other yummies.

Mickey beignets at Cafe Orleans and the fritters at Royal St Veranda. So incredibly good! With the beignets I felt transported to Cafe du Monde, and since hubby was wearing black, he got covered in powdered sugar and I really felt like I was there (except for the aroma I remember in New Orleans...NOS definitely smells fresher, LOL).

Last year we tried a couple of sundaes from Burr-Bank, and I was very UNDERwhelmed. It's like Cold Stone to me; they look good, I want them to be good, but they were actually very bland and not worth the price or the calories.

My 8 yr old had one & blew out his nose as he took a bite & covered DH across the table with sugar. :rotfl2:

Mine is the same at DL & WDW:

A handmade ice cream-cookie sandwich! A couple of those fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream between them! Found at the Main Street Bakery at both DL and the Magic Kingdom.

YUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!!! And I'll be having one in 19 days! But who's counting?
