Where do you get silhouettes made?

I was wondering which park(s) you can get these done in? Have many of you had them done and liked them? Thanks.

My neighbors got cartoonish character pictures of themselves (sorry don't know what else to call them) made but I don't know if they got them done at the parks or at their hotel they were staying at (off site). Does anyone know about these, as well? Thanks.

These are my favorite souvenirs!!! We always get them done in MK - there is a little side st off of Main St where there's a cart - also another cart up by Liberty Square. I have almost 30 years of silhouettes - love the way the kid's faces and hairstyles (and hats!) have changed over the years - last year I got the first one done of DGrD - now I can add my grandkids to the collection - on the few trips that I get DH to come along we have started to get a double one of the two of us done - that way when the kids all inherit their silhouettes they can also have one of us !

we got our silhouette made in MK while walking out of liberty square by the castle it took 5 minutes and is beautiful. The cartoon ones are everywhere, in all the parks, some hotels and marketplace, I perfer the sillouette

HI you get them right outside of The Hall of Presidents, in the MK I have 5 kids now but when we were there last we only had 3. We had them done. I really like it. I had all 3 on one the price was about 25.00 or so. We had the guy cut them out then we ate lunch and came back to pick them up later. I think they were worth while, we will do it again next June06. I just cancelled our June05 trip because I had another baby. Hope you have a great trip! JIll

We had ours done at down town disney they make three made for the price of one at MK (a better deal) It is right outside the disney home items store and they did an awesoem job. If you are going there it is great- the frame were extra but for 3 gifts it was a super price. 20 something for the 3 pics and then 7 for each frame- loved it!

We have 5 kids as well and have them done by Jan at Liberty Square. She signs thems and dates them for me. She does a great job. I have 5 at this point! The funniest one was when DD was 2 and it was her first trip and she was sick with ear infections etc. almost entire trip and slept almost entire trip. She was on antibiotics and would wake to have DH carry her, her favorite ride that year was "My Daddy". Anyhow she was out liek a light and it was our last day. DH sat in the chair and held her head up, Jan added her in, it was our first with all 5 of them, and you would never know she was asleep, lol!

We were there two weeks ago for MA vacation and also had Jan. Matter of fact, we watched and waited to see her at the shop between Liberty square and the castle. She's great!

I mentioned that I'd read about her specifically on these boards and after she stopped blushing we got to talking. She said she's been doing the silhouettes for more than 16 years. In about two minutes of cutting she did my big boy and the toddler didn't take much more.

To be specific with details, it was $7 for each person's silhouette, but you get two (mirror images) of them. Also, there are small frames available with glass in the front for $6.95. We had some cash left over from the baby's christening (he's almost two) that we wanted to use for something special. We decided that this was definitely worth it and it was right around $30, a bargain for WDW. Also, Jan offered to store them for us until we were done for the day (because of the glass frames), but we chose to tuck them in the bottom of the stroller. They made it home fine in our suitcases with a little clothing and diapers for cushioning.
