O.k., I have seen that people pay like $3 for a package of diapers.

HOW???

Where do you find the deals?

I am almost 11 weeks along and would like to start stocking up on some diapers as the deals come around, but no matter what I try to put together, I can't seem to bring the price down that low.

Thanks a lot for the advice!

Sign up on Gerber, Pampers, Luvs websites. They send lots and lots of coupons to you. My sister in law did that and she was inundated with so many coupons that she couldn't use them fast enough.

you need to start watching sites like hotcouponworld so that when a diaper deal is known to be coming up or is in progress you can jump in and work the deals yourself. I stocked up for the boys doing diaper deals, often for much less than $3 per pack. It took a lot of work and storage space (you'd be surprised how much space diapers take up) but well worth it. You'll want to stock up on the bigger sizes if you are doing a major stock up. Sz 3 and 4 are pretty safe bets that your child will be in those for a really long time. Also watch for wipe deals too.

The basic concept of the 'ultimate' diaper deal is:
store sale
combined with store coupon
combined with manf coupon

Target always seems to have diapers in clearance. With that price along with manufacturer coupons, it makes them a pretty good deal!

Definitely sign up with pampers, huggies, target (baby registry), babiesrus/toysrus (registry). Even if you don't go to babiesrus/toysrus often they'll send you some coupons that might just make it worth it to go.

Also lurk on slickdeals.com (go to the hot deals forum, or search for diapers). People there will list diaper deals on amazon, diapers.com, target, target.com, etc.

As for other baby essentials coupons, check out parenting magazines, parents magazine, american baby magazines, babytalk magazines. Sometimes there are coupons in the magazines for baby depot.
I think parenting have a free 1 year subscription or something like that if you are a new subscriber. And if you purchase boppy pillow sometimes they'll have a coupon for free parenting subscription.

Just be careful not to stock up before you know you and the baby likes the diapers. You don't want the hassle of returning tons of diapers or figuring out what to do with them.
Every baby is different, some works well with pampers, some huggies, etc. My baby can't deal with luvs because it's plasticky (no air coming thru = rashes), some babies are absolutely ok with it.
Some people swears by target brand up and up or warehouse brand like kirklands.

So make sure you try them all first and then stock up.
Wipes however, you can safely stock up. Just get the fragrance free ones and you'll be ok. Again, some babies can't handle fragrances, so stocking up on the unscented wipes will be safer.

Congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy! :)

Here is a diaper deal I did this week at Rite Aid. Deals like this come up all the time at the drug stores.

The huggies were on sale for 8.99.

I put together a purchase worth $20, so you can use Rite Aid's $5 off a $20 purchase. All the other items I bought were close to free or free after rebate or coupon use. I also had a $3 huggies manufacturer coupon and $2 Rita aid coupon to use. Even without the $5 off the whole purchase my diapers would have only been $3.99, but by using the $5 off the total purchase coupon I was able to pay about $8 total for all my items and I will be getting back $7.50 in rebates, so my cost is approximately $0.50 for the diapers.

Hope this helps and make some sense. I find playing the drug store game of rebates, register rewards, or extra care bucks really helps to make diapers super cheap. I try to always have about a month supply of diapers on hand so I can wait for the best deals. Also, it helps to come up with a cost per diaper so you can compare the prices better - like jumbo and mega pack versus the cardboard size boxes.

I've done CVS when they have their extra bucks deals, you can combine your extra bucks with manufacturer coupons. This is probably the best I do. Target clearances diapers every so often, that's usually not as great of a deal, but a good one nonetheless. :)

Good luck, and congrats!! I'm 20 weeks and I have a Rubbermaid tub overflowing with Swaddlers at the moment. LOL. It's addictive.

DRUGSTORES!!! CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens are the BEST for diaper deals. It takes a little work to learn each store's system, but it is the way to go to get cheap diapers.

Check out www.southernsavers.com and www.hip2save.com - they always list the week's deals & coupon match-ups Friday/Saturday for the new ad that starts on Sunday.
