What do you consider the best place for a sit-down breakfast? We would rather sit down and eat a meal before we head out for the day instead of grabbing a baked good on the run. Don't care if it is in park or resort we will have a car

Thanks in advance :thumbsup2

Yum, I second Kona, also Whispering Canyon at the WL has a good breakfast as does the GF Cafe. The buffet at Boma is really good.

To me, the best food is at Boma. The best overall breakfast, however, is Ohana, in my opinion. Great food, great atmosphere, great character interaction. Other ones we liked were Chef Mickey's and Tusker House. Kona has yummy food too!

Ok based on my reading of various dining reports and checking out what is on the dining plan for 2009 here is what I have chosen. Any thought??

Boma
Kona
Boatwrights
Crystal Palace
Grand Floridian Cafe
Olivia's Cafe
Whispering Canyon
Ohana's
Spoodles
I still need 4 places since we will eat at Boatwrights twice

Thanks gang :thumbsup2

Hi :wave2:

I know you said "sit down" which typically means table service, but we really love to eat a Gasaparilla Grill at the Grand Floridian. It's their quick service option, but we love to get our food (yummy pancakes) and sit at the tables outside overlooking the marina and monorail. It's usually very peaceful (weather permitting), and it's a nice "before MK" breakfast.

I was going to say Spoodles and Boatwrights - Looks like you have that covered.

Our favorite breakfast on Epcot days is the coffee/pastry shop in front of the fountain. Grab coffee and sugar breakfast and Fountain/People watch while we eat. They also had some quiche type option last time we went.

I hope you have a great trip!

We're going to try breakfast with the Princesses at Akershaus in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know. I've also heard that 1900 Park Fare is good but I don't have any personal experience with it.

I go to my resort snack shop (BC Marketplace normally) and get a cookie, cupcake, or other bake good. I often go to the cookie shops in the parks too (Frontierland, Main Street, near Tusker House)

If Donald is really your hero, how can you not eat at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker on your AK day?

Spoodles at the Boardwalk has a very nice sit down breakfast.

Donald...just had to pop in and say HI!! It's been forever. I hope all is well in your world!! :goodvibes

For TS breakfast, we would usually choose a buffet. If you want a la carte, Kona Cafe is a good choice.

OH my goodness, i was in major pout mode when i came home from a mini vaction and found the thread had been "officially" shut down. Good to see you.

I went a head and booked the mega trip and as you can see I am now trying to plan out meals

I liked crystal Palace breakfast...that is the only breakfast we have had TS so far.

I ordered Tonga Toast room service in the morning at the Poly and OMG YUM!!! Try Kona Cafe :)

I did the same thing. Wasn't happy at all. I am soooooo happy for you. I hope you have a blast with all of the planning. :goodvibes

We did Tusker House in March, the food was really good, and the Characters were awesome. Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy are there. It is in the AK at Tusker House. The Buffet is not the typical buffet stand. It is broken up into many different buffet stations. It looks more like an African Marketplace than buffet. They take your picture outside before you go into the restaurant that you can purchase during the meal.
