I am having a hard time choosing where to eat dinner in Aug on our MK day. Do you eat at the park or go to one of the monorail resorts? I have a ressie at Tony's but am not too excited about it and we have eaten there a few times before and have other Italian restaurants planned for the week like Tutto Italian and Il Mulino. So I am thinking maybe it's too much Italian and Tonys will fail in comparison to the others.

We typically go to one of the monerail resorts. To more specific we tend to go to the California Grill at the Contemporary. There are just more and better options (in my opinion) and it is a quick monerail ride back to MK. There are no ts restaurants that really exite us at MK (the only one really being CP for breakfast).

We love the Crystal Palace. The food is always good. The restaurant is always packed because of the Pooh crowd but we went last time we found the positives to far outweigh the crowd.

I haven't been to LLT in quite a while but we enjoyed it there as well.

Tony's was also good but since you have so much Italian on your schedule, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these other 2.

For a while we've been going to Crystal Palace for dinner at MK.

Since you have a couple of Italian places, already, I say take the monorail :) 'Ohana or Kona are good choices for dinner.

If we are staying in the park for the night we will eat at Tony's or eat an early dinner at GFC, Citricos, Cali Grill, the Wave (these last 3 places take 2 hours so we only do this when the park is open very late for a party night or EMH)

I have to agree that eating at one of the monorail resort hotels is the way to go. The choices are soooooo much better than anything in the MK. You are only 10 minutes away so why not enjoy a better dinner.

We have done both. If you want better food, I say go to the resorts, but if you want the convenience and vibe of the parks, Crystal Palace is always good!

It's not a great value, but we really like the Plaza. Strawberry chicken salad & a milkshake for dessert. :thumbsup2

We no longer have breakfast or dinner in MK. We might have lunch at CHH or Pecos Bill's. Hop on the monorail to eat at a resort, or just do snacks at MK.:earsboy:

We had a very good dinner last week at Kona Cafe at the Poly. I had a shrimp & noodle bowl and my husband had a ribeye and loved it. The kids meals and desserts were also good.

For TS I love The Plaza -
My prefered dining plan for MK:
Something yummy from Main St. Bakery for breakfast.
Columbia Harbour House for lunch.
Monorail ride to Kona for dinner.
:)
