Where do you buy your transfer paper?

I've read that most people seem to prefer either Avery or HP transfer paper. But where have most people found this paper for the best price? This will be our 1st time making shirts for the MNSSHP, and we got the design already, courtesy of one of the great designers on this board.

I also noticed that most people seemed to prefer the dark transfer paper even when being used on light shirts. We are putting this one white shirts, what is everyone's opinion on getting the dark or light paper for our image that will be transfered to a white shirt?

I got my paper from www.printonit.com It's about $20 for 20 dark transfers with free shipping. Although if you only need a few transfers it's more expensive and they charge for shipping so something else might be better.

I think the dark paper is better on white because the color shows more vibrantly. If it's an elaborate design (not easily trimmed) then I'd use light.

Another idea is to go to Walmart or Sam's Club! That's where I got them last. You'll save time and they are a pretty good price! Staples also has them (My mom works there so I know for sure about them too!)

At the advice of posters on this board, I purchased Avery dark sheets yesterday at WalMart. $9.99 for 5 sheets. I can't comment on the dark versus light though because MNSSHP is also my first try at using transfers.
