We are thinking of doing a Universal only trip this Spring, but I am having a terrible time with the Universal Web Site. Where do you guys book your trips? Are there any discounts/specials out there? :confused3

Thanks! :flower3:

AAA rates are available by calling Universal reservations. They are not available on the Loews or Universal websites.

Cool! We're AAA members!!! :woohoo:

Don't expect it to help a whole lot! It saved 10% off my $279 mid-March rate bringing it to $251. Better than no discount at all. I had the room already reserved and called Loews to check to see if AAA rate was available, and it was and they changed it.

I'm not sure if these discounts are still available, but it can not hurt to try. Check into signing up for a Lowe's hotels member card, use the Lowe's hotels website. Also if you have an Entertainment coupon book, it has a discount card in the front of the book.

When I went, I just called Universal reservation number. The gentleman I spoke to was very helpful it suggesting discounts and how to get them.

Good luck!

this isn't a discount, but it is a justification i thought i'd share. i was a little shocked at how much we were spending to stay on-site (we got the stay more save more discount, but with only a four night stay we are still paying $253/night at PBH) but then i came up with my awesome justification--for the two of us to buy universal express pass, it would be $180/day. so really, we're only paying $73/night to stay there--and i can deal with that!

hope that helps! have a great trip! :goodvibes

There are no entertainment rates anymore. The youfirst member card won't give you any discounts but after a certain number of stays you can qualify for upgrades and food and beverage credits.
