Where do we stay with 5?

We are a family of 5 and would like to try Universal onsite. Beside 2 rooms, are there any other options?

We have 5 in our family. All three resorts offer rooms that are large enough to put a roll-away in or as we do, bring an air mattress.

HRH has deluxe rooms that I believe has a sleeper sofa in it.

Depending on how old your children are, there is also the option of a kids suite at either PBH or HRH (also with a roll away - but more room.)

The rooms at PBH are the largest and offer the most walk around room with a roll away.

We like the aerobed option because you can deflate it in the morning for extra room and it only takes a minute or two to inflate it back at night.

We have done the deluxe queen room at HRH a couple of times with 5 and it was plenty of room. There is a sleeper sofa, and 2 queen beds, and quite frankly 2 little ones could sleep on the sleeper if you wanted. This year we are doing RPR and they dont have the deluxe queen room as an option, so we are in a queen room and are taking an inflatable twin bed. I opted for that for the reasons listed above and also, I got it online for 40$ and a rollaway cost 25$ per day. I have already tested it and it is perfectly comfy so I'm not too worried about it. :goodvibes

We did the deluxe room at HRH and it was great. My two dds (they were 5 and 7) slept on the pull out sofa, ds (4) slept with me and dh had a queen bed all to himself - lucky guy!

We liked it so much we're going back this year. HRH is a great resort.

What kind of view did you have in the DLX room? I really wanted a pool view, but heard that wasn't possible with a DLX.

Thanks

You can get both pool view and garden view with deluxe. We have had both. I don't think you can reserve a view with deluxe but you can request a view.

We had a "pool view" room but it was on the first floor and most of the greenery obscured the view of the pool. Still it was a great room.

We have club level booked for July and have requested a deluxe room. Since there are only four of them we are just hoping for good luck. Does anyone know whether you would be able to get a regular deluxe room and just have the key for club privileges? Is this allowed? Thank you.

We are a family of 5. We've stayed 3 times in a standard room, twice at HRH and once at RP. We brought our own air mattress, and we've also just made a bed in the floor between the two beds using a sleeping back and some blankets for the kids. But 5 were allowed in the standard room. However, I think it would be quite tight with a rollaway bed which was offered to us.
