Where do we stay the night before?

My family is doing the 4/3 day lands/sea option in October. Since I do not want to spend our DAY1 travelling, where is a place outside Disney world that would be a nice/moderately priced hotel to stay ? Thanks!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Universal in 1999. It was nice. It's across the street from Universal and there is a Pondarosa nearby. There was also a little arcade place next to it with a Pizza Hut and a Haunted House. My cousins had fun playing the games at the arcade.

It's name has changed-sorry I don't recall the new name but it's still a Holiday Inn (Suites?).
