where do we get the 1st navigator?

Last Dec I got mine when we checked in... so you can look it over while you are waiting to embark!

Definitely at check-in so you can prepare for the ressie scramble and drool over the wonderful activities while you wait. Makes the wait time to board go by faster!

We were told that they weren't giving them out early anymore (this was on Sat 9/14). Don't know if that's true or not. Has anyone else been told that??

The only time we did not receive them beforehand was once when we were told that they were short of navs. at the port. However, our last cruise was 9/5, so perhaps things have changed. I hope not...it's very handy to have that first navigator ASAP! Even having cruised 26 times, we have found that there still can be little changes each time.

Even if the navigators arent ready at the time of checkin, maybe there could be a board posting times/places for the signups for palos, spa, etc. Anything would be a help.

On our cruise (9/19) they no longer had them at the port. They did have a sheet of "highlights" that told you when reservations were being taken and where, when and where for lunch, what time to your room would be ready...basically whatever you need to get through the first hour or two on the ship. When we went to our room at 1:30 or so, the first day's navigator was on our bed just like any other day.
