Where do they get their pins????

Before my family goes to WDW we usually buy some pins on e bay so we can trade in the parks.

Does anybody know how do the people who sell the big lots get their pins?

Some of these people have hundreds of new pins for sale and don't really get that much money for them. so they must buy them cheap from somewhere.

I never see them at the Disney Store.

Is there a secret store to buy surplus Disney pins?????

I am sure somebody here knows the answer.

There is no secret Disney pin store.

While I cannot be <i>sure</i>, I believe some of these sellers of pin lots <i>may</i> use this method:

Occasionally some pins are deeply discounted (down to $1-$2) and sold at the Character Outlets and/or at Company D.

People buy up these inexpensive pins and then trade them off to cast lanyards for other pins so that they end up with a wider variety. Then they turn that it into the lots you see listed on eBay.

Or............some people are liquidating their collections and selling all their pins.

I have sold some off in 100 pin lots, and yes, I was just liquidating surplus. I looked around, I am swimming in Disney stuff. So I am choosing the things I truly love, and selling off the rest. I kept about 80 pins that I love, and I am in the middle of selling off about 400! Wow, I just had alot laying about.

i have just been selling my collection on ebay, i didnt get them from discount stores though, i just forgot why I started collecting so I decided other would be happier with them
